🥋 The most important lesson in Jiu-Jitsu!

Today I had the opportunity to ask Professor Thiago Abreu a personal question:

What has been the biggest lesson you’ve learned throughout your Jiu-Jitsu journey?

Not about techniques, positions or submissions, but about the lessons learned through years of experience on the mats.

🎥 Check out his answer in this reel!

💬 What’s the biggest lesson Jiu-Jitsu has taught YOU?

🥋💚 GREEN GRAPPLER – NEVER STOP LEARNING!

The belt changes. The learning never stops.

here’s all of our fave food spots in New York 🌭🥯🍔 can you tell we plan our trips around food?

@joespizzanyc in Brooklyn. 10/10! You can’t go to NY and not visit Joe’s. Tasty slices in an iconic place, known from the Spiderman movie.

Cheong Fun Cart in China town. 9/10
This was one of the first places on our list. Enjoy the fresh shrimp rice rolls for just 3,50! Even all the locals were lining up.

@hamburger_america, 10/10. A must visit for hamburger lovers, they’re suuuper delish and juicy. George Motz, the owner and hamburger expert was there! 🍔

@lindustriebk 10/10. Everyone who does research on the best pizza in NY ends up here, and we understand why. Damn good slices with superb toppings, especially the burrata slice. Deff more European style than NY.

Mei Lei Wah Bakery in China town, 10/10!!! The viral pineapple pork bun isn’t just a hype, its actually to die for and super cheap. They also have a load of other good stuff like fried rice and steamed chicken bun.

@scarrspizza 8.5/10. This was our first slice, so we didnt have much to compare it with yet. Overall a really good slice for flavor and crispness, just a bit scarce with toppings.

@peterpandonut in Brooklyn. 10/10
Also known from the Spiderman movie and for their crazy good donuts. Honestly a holy grail in NY you can’t skip. They also have cheap bagels, sandwiches and coffee.

Grey’s Papaya, a solid 9/10. If you don’t know this place, you’re weird. Great for hotdogs and a papaya drink. Just not a 10/10 because they didn’t have other meat alternatives (only beef dogs) 🌭🌭

@edithsbk 10/10!! this was Sarah’s post competition meal. She had the Sephardi wrap and choc-chip cookie. Both to die for. No pic because she enhaled both 🫠

@milkbarstore - 9/10. Another famous chain known for soft serve ice cream, based on cereal milk and cookies. they have locations all over town. Theres a documentary about this company too.

@lbspumonigardens 10/10 for the upside down sicilian slice. Sooo crispy and cheesy. Maybe it tasted better because of the sunset views? 🌇

Balmonte’s Restaurant in Brooklyn - 10/10!!!! Please please go here if you’re a Soprano’s fan and looking for an authentic America
