As a yoga student and teacher of over a decade I have witnessed or had ALL of these scenarios happen to me. Especially the distracting student doing there own thing💀
Please add in your experience or which one brings out your most “non yoga” self

Between the variety of instruments, the sound of rain outside the windows, and the comfort of restorative shapes, Sunday afternoon felt pretty special. 🤍

It was especially meaningful to co-create this experience with @delicious_movement, Yoga Station teacher and sound practitioner, and @whitneycoccaroyoga owner and yoga teacher. (And thank you to Sherri who was our support with instruments and holding space 🙏)

We appreciate all who joined, we look forward to hearing your experience!

More of these to come. ✨

In November, we’ll celebrate 2 years since opening the doors to this space, and 3 years since we offered our very first class to the Georgetown Community.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how to better capture the feeling of being here. While photos are important, I never wanted to interrupt the experience by bringing a photographer into a room full of students immersed in their practice.

So, in the spirit of our community, our teachers generously volunteered their time for a special in-studio photoshoot. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible teachers for showing up with such generosity, and to the talented Federico @callmefed for beautifully bringing our vision to life.

Here is a sneak peak to some of our favorites 🤍

We had 60 people attend our Open House on Sunday ✨

Through out the day we had 9 classes, and 5 services to choose from to create an afternoon of movement, self-care and relaxation✨

We hope those that attended enjoyed the day and we hope to welcome more of you to the next open house this summer! ☀️

Huge thanks to all the practitioners that offered sessions through out the day and the teachers that offered classes.

Love to all! 🤍

✨ What a year it has been! ✨

At Yoga Station, everything we create is rooted in our three foundational pillars: movement, community, and mindfulness. They guide how we show up, how we connect, and how we serve.

As we reflect on all that was collectively built, grown, supported, loved, discovered, and nurtured this year, we’re deeply proud of what we’ve offered to our small corner of the 🌎 here in @georgetownconnecticut

To our incredible teachers, students, and families…thank you. Thank you for the energy, care, and presence you brought into this space and into the lives of those around you. This community is what it is because of you.

Being of service to others is woven into the very heart of our ethos, and we hope that spirit was felt fully and sincerely by you throughout 2025.

Here’s to a beautiful year ahead as we welcome 2026—with gratitude, intention, and open hearts. ✨

Please please, watch or read or listen. Love, gratitude, and forever friendship to @delicious_movement for bringing this to my attention… and of course credit to the author, the brilliant @andreagibson

Find a space for this in your life loves. Nobody is saying you have to walk around all day long with your heart on your sleeve, but we can lose access to our humanity entirely if we don’t dust it off every once in awhile. Xoxo
