I think I said "proud" six times in my postgame chat when I realized I saying the word a lot. Then, I said it some more.
Our @capwolveshockey U12 Red team lost today in the Tier II state finals, 1-0, with 33 seconds left in overtime. Heartbreaking loss for the girls.
The team we lost to had beaten us three previous times by a combined score of 17-6, but today, we played with them, never gave up, and had a chance in the end. That's all I could ask for, and that's why I still keep saying "proud."

First of all, I consider it honor enough to be able to do what I do for a living. To connect with someone and help tell their story, whether it’s one of struggle or triumph, (and usually it’s both) there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing it come to life on @espnnfl #mnf Countdown. Now to be recognized for it, well...that’s pretty special. Our @espn features department approaches every assignment with great passion and dedication. I’m proud to be amongst the talented group of people acknowledged for their hard work. But what brings me the most joy is knowing that this feature “No Place Like Home” wouldn’t have happened unless my friend, former @chargers PR Director Bill Johnston, trusted me enough to tell the delicate and difficult story of his wife, Ramona Johnston who suffers from #huntingtonsdisease - He entrusted our producer @aaronjohnson932 and our crew enough to give us access to their family, capturing moments with him and Ramona, and interview his daughter @hayleycjohnston who was incredible. Their story made a difference. They educated and touched people. And THAT makes it all worth it. 🏈🙌🏼💯
