The bigger, bolder, HIGHER agenda is heeeere.

On October 30-31, we wake the mountain spirits for Halloween.

The two-day event comes around the launch of Bar Brutal: A Cookbook of Revelations, the new Apartamento release, filled with chaos, brutal recipes, and archival memories brought to life.

On DAY 1, we ease into it with Sacred Encounters and Wine Tasting, guided by sommeliers Veronica of @denvandrette and Sune of @Rosforthrosforth.

On DAY 2, we pick up the pace, starting with the Cookbook Reading Aperitivo at the Rooms Kazbegi event room.

Right after, Holden & Zimpel perform “The universe will take care of you” guiding us into the forest for a live instrumental dialogue.

THEN WE FEAST. David Peterson (@depe24) of Copenhagen’s infamous Den Vandrette takes over The Lobby for dinner, built around seasonal produce sourced from our own Udabno farm.

Closing the weekend is London heavyweight Yu Su (@yusu_suyu), taking us through a long, loose, never-ending dancing soiree between house, dub and heavy polyrhythms.

@barbrutalbarcelona is going to the mountains and so should you.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you my full Steller itinerary, including restaurants, neighbourhoods, photo spots, and tips for planning your own trip.

Favourite stops include La Cabra, Copenhagen Coffee Collective, and Prolog. Whether you’re after third wave coffee or a break from sightseeing, Copenhagen’s café culture is reason enough to slow down.

Some of my favourite walks were through Christianshavn, around The Lakes, and along the harbour. Copenhagen is one of those cities where the journey between places is often the best part.

Visit Christiansborg Palace to explore the Royal Reception Rooms, the Royal Stables, and the Danish Parliament.

Take a picnic to the King’s Garden, wander Frederiksberg Have, or simply find a sunny bench along the harbour. Copenhagen makes it easy to spend time outdoors.

The SMK (National Gallery of Denmark) was one of my favourite stops, but inspiration is everywhere: from striking architecture to public art woven throughout the city.

Start with a cardamom bun from Juno, then continue your pastry tour at Hart or Københavns Bageri. I don’t think there’s a bad choice!

Some unforgettable meals from our trip included the waterfront dining at Restaurant Barr and the vibrant food stalls at Reffen.

Take the train to Helsingør for colourful streets, Kronborg Castle, seaside views, and one of the oldest ice cream shops in Denmark. It’s an easy day trip that feels worlds away from the city.

A freshly baked waffle cone from Brostræde has been a Helsingør tradition for more than a century... and yes, it’s worth the train ride.

On a warm summer day, locals cool off right in Copenhagen’s clean harbour baths. Even if you’re not swimming, they’re some of the city’s best places to relax and people-watch.

Skip the crowded sightseeing cruise and rent your own GOBOAT. Seeing Copenhagen from the water ended up being one of our favourite experiences.

Wander through the historic Carlsberg City District, admire the iconic Elephant Gate, and learn how one of Denmark’s most recognizable breweries helped shape the neighbourhood’s architecture and history.
