LANDOWNERS, YOU KNOW IT’S NEVER JUST ABOUT BUYING THE LAND… IT’S ABOUT WHAT YOU DO WITH IT.

Nobody talks enough about the work that comes AFTER you get the land.

Clearing brush. Running a chainsaw. Surveying your property. Figuring things out as you go. Getting your hands dirty because the vision won't build itself.

At The Growth Spot, we're putting in the work on our 37.5 acres in Arizona one project at a time.

🌱 OWN THE LAND. LEARN THE LAND. BUILD SOMETHING THAT LASTS.

👇🏾 LANDOWNERS: What’s the most challenging job you’ve had to tackle on your own property?

📲 Know somebody putting in work on their own land? SHARE this with them.

Follow and subscribe to The Growth Spot for real land development, hands-on projects, stewardship, and the lessons we're learning along the way.

The Growth Spot Foundation's Inaugural AFROFUTURISM L.E.G.A.C.Y Fundraising Social was much more than an event, we celebrated the future of Culture, Art, Literature, Technology, and Innovation while fundraising for a cause greater than any one person.

For us, this is about Community, Collaboration, and leaving a L.E.G.A.C.Y for the generations to come by investing in the future of our youth. The concepts of Sankofa and Each One, Teach One are a reality The Growth Spot Foundation incorporated through our community workshops hosted locally and the L.E.G.A.C.Y Camps we host for our young men annually.

We need your help to reach our goal of securing a passenger van that to be used to transport young leaders in the Valley back and forth to our 37.5 acres of land near St. Johns Arizona.

If you believe in supporting and building something that will last far beyond the present moment, become a sponsor, support our mission, make a donation, and share this post with someone who believes in restoring our communities back to a safe place for generations to come.

WHAT ARE YOU INVESTING IN?

IF YOU HAD $100 TO INVEST IN YOUR COMMUNITY, WHERE WOULD YOU PUT IT?

That's the conversation.

Because community doesn't grow from good intentions alone.

It grows when people invest.

The Growth Spot Foundation is raising resources for youth transportation during our L.E.G.A.C.Y. Camps, Valley workshops, land stewardship and continued community support.

And we're inviting businesses, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and everyday supporters into the work.

Sometimes it's a ticket.

Sometimes it's a donation.

Sometimes it's a business opening its doors.

Sometimes it's a book.

Sometimes it's four hours of studio time.

Sometimes it's simply showing up.

That's how movements grow.

The AfroFuturism L.E.G.A.C.Y. Fundraising Social is September 26th.

🚨 LIMITED TIME: Your ticket comes with 1 FREE raffle entry.

And our Wednesday 6 PM MST livestreams give you another opportunity.

💭 If you had a raised bed in your backyard, what would be the FIRST thing you'd grow?

👇 Drop your answer in the comments!

🌱 One raised bed. Endless possibilities.

At The Growth Spot, we're turning vision into action, one board, one seed, and one lesson at a time. Raised beds are more than gardening; they're a pathway to food security, self-reliance and sustainability, and community growth.

Acts of Action, Deeds of Doing.

Peace! Check out this phenomenal testimonial/review of Mwalimu Baruti’s Complementarity by my brother @desco25 which I will have several copies for sale today at the Black Family Conference held by @obfc.az at Phoenix Center of the Arts.

If you ever bought a book from me that impacted you feel free to make a video as well about it and tag me. Let’s keep pushing and promoting literacy for knowledge is power. There’s a reason why reading was forbidden by our ancestors who were enslaved which is no different as to why some books are banned from sending to those of us that are locked up. I will have many of those books available today as well. Call me boring but we read over here and I’m a make sure the rest of the community is reading as well.

PEACE

Reposted from @desco25 Shout out the god @truetrillionaire for a real gem. As a wedding gift he got me: “Complementarity” by: Mwalimu K. Bomani Batuti. This is a must read for our youth specifically, but everyone that has never read it in general. You can find my guy vending at the Black Family Conference tomorrow, May 16th at @phoenixcenterforthearts . Pull up and experience an amazing collection of speakers and professionals, and leave empowered, inspired, and with a few gems of your own from @truesbooksandcomics. Matter of fact, shout out to the whole @obfc.az for putting together another dope RBG weekend! Pull up, support, and let’s build 💪🏾✊🏾
