This year’s Design Camp filled my cup in a way I really needed. There is something so special about bringing together a room full of designers who are willing to be honest, open, and excited about what’s possible for their businesses and their lives. I left feeling exhausted, of course, but also incredibly grateful, inspired, and proud of what we’ve created. Watching everyone connect, learn, and begin to believe in themselves a little more reminded me why we keep doing this. It was emotional, meaningful, and one of those experiences I know I’ll carry with me for a long time.

Thank you to our amazing keynote speakers, @chloe.legras, @erinstetzerhome, @jasonsaft, @kelseyleighdesignco and to the amazing staff at @austinproperhotel , my team, and my best friend and co-founder @anastasiacasey_, who I couldn’t do this without, and of course, the campers who transform design camp every year, making it the most unforgettable experience each year that goes by. Until next year! 🤍

Heavy on the “finding time to sleep” part. 🫣 She says at 12:30 from Provence…

This week on Substack: sharing BTS of what it’s really like “balancing it all”. Spoiler alert, it’s more of a juggle than a balance. Definitely worth a read if you’re a business owner trying to define your own success, I’m sharing a lot of personal insights this week. (Link in my bio.)

I might be loaded down with antiques and little sleep but skincare I don’t mess around with while traveling. My one constant. Comment LINK and I’ll send you my favorite travel skincare that I cannot live without. 🌻

And here we have BTS of life lately - a whirlwind trip to the US, Paris for a few days, and then straight into our @boxwoodavenue.abroad fall antiquing retreats in Provence!

It sometimes feels like a lot, but what a gift to be tired from the things I once prayed for! Grateful every single day. Xx

A few thoughts I’m bringing home from Design Camp. 🤎

Getting to speak was such an honor, but one of my favorite parts of the entire experience was simply being in a room full of women who care deeply about what they create AND the businesses they’re building behind it.

It reminded me that collaboration will always be better than competition. We may have different styles, businesses, and stories, but when you actually sit down and talk, you realize how many of the same challenges we’re all navigating.

Especially as women, moms, and business owners.

I left Austin thinking a lot about the kind of business I want to continue building. One where we do incredible work, grow big dreams, and create space for women and moms to have meaningful careers while still being present for the lives they’re building outside of work.

Very grateful for the conversations, the new friendships, and the reminder that there’s room for all of us at the table.

And because I am still an interior designer at the end of the day… the Austin Proper absolutely lived up to the hype. 😂 10/10. No notes.

Thank you, Design Camp, for having me. 🤎

If you were in that room with me, I’d love to know: what’s one thing you took home with you?
