Introducing Nūr Studio ✨
After lots of thought, creativity, and intention, I’m so excited to finally share Nūr Studio, a creative studio rooted in purpose, storytelling, and meaningful design.

Inspired by nūr, the Arabic word for light, this studio was built on the belief that design should do more than look beautiful; it should create connection, evoke emotion, and bring ideas to light.

Built from my passion for thoughtful, authentic design, Nūr Studio represents creating work with purpose, care, and meaning.
This is just the beginning, welcome to Nūr Studio!

introducing.. aleeza altaf !

specialising in branding, type, illustration, print, editorial, ui, ux + motion

As a multidisciplinary designer, I work across a range of media including branding, typography, editorial and print design, animation, and illustration. I enjoy exploring different aesthetics and experimenting with different ways of designing, allowing each project to develop its own unique visual language. I’m constantly inspired by the process of creating, discovering new ideas, and pushing my work in fresh and unexpected directions.

Through working across multiple disciplines, I’ve developed the ability to refine and tailor my approach to suit the unique needs of each project. I believe in the power of storytelling through design and strive to create visuals that are engaging, distinctive, and memorable work that not only communicates clearly, but also leaves a lasting impression.

My faith also plays an important role in my creative practice. It shapes the way I approach both design and collaboration, encouraging me to create with purpose, honesty, and intention. I see creativity as a gift and an opportunity to reflect meaning, beauty, and authenticity through the work I produce.

Architectural Type with @dalton.maag @riccardo.de.franceschi | Poster

This project explored the relationship between TYPE & ARCHITECTURE, using the visual language and structural forms of Shahi Qila, located in Lahore, Pakistan, as the main source of inspiration. Through this project, I designed and developed a custom display typeface featuring uppercase and lowercase letterforms, numbers, and punctuation.
