3rd Year with us is all about focusing on your developing personal design practice and moving forward towards your own future creative goals, ambitions and skills.

This Year’s Summer Brief was a pause moment, exploring the concept of ‘Re’ - a prefix that suggests revisiting, rethinking, and reflecting.

Through the act of re-looking, the project investigates how experiences and ideas can be reinterpreted and communicated through contemporary design practice. It considers the value of reflection as a creative tool for generating new perspectives and meaningful visual outcomes.

“I could trace any of my projects back to one initial source of inspiration,” says @msoagraphicdesign graduate Lily Truelove (@hi.truelove). “There’s a wealth of references that lie within historical contexts not necessarily related to graphic design that I always find the most exciting to explore.”⁠
