Let's talk about the design software we use for almost all of our projects💻

@designfilesapp has been a game-changer for my business. From create design boards like the one shown, to invoicing, floor plan design, task management, the trainings...I really have nothing but good things to say about them! We can translate a design for our clients to understand how their space will look and feel all in one go. It makes the design process so easy to manage✨️

This post isn't sponsored! I just have to give props where it's due, and I truly believe in this program and in our process with them. So thank you DesignFiles!

Apparently, everybody’s looking for something… and sometimes it’s just not the chair I picked. 😂

Approved.
Approved.
Approved.
DECLINED.

It’s all part of the design process. Clients aren’t going to approve every suggestion, and they’re not supposed to.

My job is to bring the vision, ideas, and expertise. Their job is to tell me what feels like them.

Sometimes it’s an immediate yes. Sometimes it’s a hard no. And sometimes the “no” is exactly what gets us to the right answer.

That’s how we create a home that feels personal, elevated, and livable.

RIP to all the beautiful things left behind along the way HA!

Picking pretty things is part of the job. Just not nearly as much as people think 😂

There’s a whole lot that happens between “I want a new kitchen” and actually having one — and honestly, figuring all of that out is the part I love.

What do you picture when someone says they’re an interior designer? I genuinely want to know 😅😁

This custom build is what warm modern dreams are made of.

Material selections, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, finishes and all of the tiny details in between have been ready since early in the year and we’re finally getting to the part where the full design starts to visually come together.

The foundation of this home is warm, modern and timeless (leaning a little Cali casual), but it’s the extra designer details throughout that I’m especially excited to see come to life, integrated lighting, custom stone detailing, layered materials and those small decisions really make the biggest impact.

Walking through now, I’m already envisioning the furniture, art and styling that could finish each space.

This is always one of my favorite parts of a new build: watching individual selections finally become a home.

More progress (and a lot of details) to come.

Any interior designers interested in an AI app that combines pictures of your client's existing tired old kitchen, your architectural drawings, pictures of any samples (paint swatch, hardware, etc) and your description of the design concept for their future kitchen AND then works with you to get all the fancy interior design photography settings just right...resulting in a concept image that your client will actually understand right away.

We've been testing it for months as a laptop combination of Claude & Nano Banana and while it works perfectly, it required the designer to go back & forth between claude and google.

Having it work just as well but in a simple one-stop AI app that you can use on your tablet or smartphone has been our holy grail. And it's working. I've been using it all day and it's so good.

Super excited. Have to tell everybody...gonna burst.

Please excuse the cheesy Ai generated text...I couldn't wait to share the news 😁
