An afternoon dedicated to original design, craftsmanship, and getting our hands dirty. We recently opened the doors of our 80,000-square-foot facility alongside @beoriginalamericas and @rarify for a behind-the-scenes tour of Amuneal.

Guests explored our fabrication process from start to finish before taking part in a hands-on workshop to create their own bronze mementos. Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a memorable event!✨

Last week, during the @designphilly festival, GPA held our SDG Panel: Extreme Weather and the SDGs event at the Philadelphia @fprinews.

With help from moderator, Mathy Stanislaus, Vice Provost and Executive Director of The Environmental Collaboratory, @drexeluniv and panelists:

Alexandra Grubb (Corporate Communications Director of Sustainability, @essity), Thi Lam (Deputy Director, @seamaac), Erin Mooney (Executive Director
@schuylkillcenter), Calo Rosa (Community Activist and Painter of SDG 13, @caloblacksand) reflected the many dimensions of climate action across art, community resilience, education, and corporate sustainability.

Thank you to all of our attendees that participated in our event and hope you enjoyed learning about the SGDs in Philadelphia’s communities!

I am excited to have participated in the project home:bodies - an interactive installation by @laurinaman and @andrewjohnwit for @DesignPhiladelphia! 🏠✨

The project reimagines the home as a playful, responsive space that invites touch, interaction, and transformation, blurring the boundaries between architecture, art, and its inhabitants.

Thank you to everyone who attended the recent Community Printmaking Workshop with Design Philadelphia ✨

On October 10, followed by a guided tour of current exhibitions, participants attended a Woodcut Workshop with Masterprinter Alexis Nutini (@dos_tres_press ) and a Monotype Workshop with Masterprinter Justine Ditto (@justine.ditto ) at Brandywine Workshop and Archives. Thank you to all participants and attendees, hope to see you again on the 23rd for the third edition of Print & Sip, and one of the very last chances to visit our exhibition PrintLab: Material Futures.

DesignPhiladelphia Festival 2026 was a reminder of just how vibrant and collaborative Philadelphia’s design community is. With so many inspiring events happening across the city, choosing where to go was sometimes the hardest part!

A few highlights from the festival:

Lighting design at the National Constitution Center - We joined a visit organized by IES Philadelphia to explore the renovated lighting design in the Center’s main exhibition spaces and see how new lighting shapes the visitor experience.

Fashion Meets Finish: Spotlight - We explored this IIDA PND exhibition, where garments from past Fashion Meets Finish events were reimagined through lighting design. Kirsten and Christina helped illuminate two of the outfits, offering a fresh perspective on the relationship between fashion and interior design.

Full Circle: Truth, Healing, and Indigenous Futures by Design - Jeffrey Kahn was part of the presenting panel, leading conversations exploring Indigenous perspectives and the role of design in shaping more thoughtful and inclusive futures.

Thank you to everyone who organized, hosted, and participated in this year’s events. It was inspiring to see so much creativity and energy throughout Philadelphia!

So, whose vision is it anyway?

We had a blast celebrating design week @designphilly with an exploratory panel discussion surrounding the challenges of creative authorship paid work, and designing for clients.

Our 3 panelists all brought unique takes to this conversation — @richard_gabriele from a fine arts perspective, @ovuud from lighting design and fabrication, and @litalgold from illustration and corporate creative lens.

A special thanks to @hotel_anna_bel for co-hosting with us, and @designphilly for putting on an amazing design week. We are so honored to be a small part of the creative world here in Philadelphia.

Every masterpiece starts with a blank canvas. Every dream starts with a decision.

I’ve spent years creating spaces for artists to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Now it’s time to build a space we can call our own.

The goal? The Art From The Heart Compound. 🏢❤️

A permanent home for art, creativity, community, and opportunity.

I’m putting my art to work to help fund that vision.

DAY 1. THE JOURNEY STARTS HERE.

Follow the journey. Share the vision. Be part of the story.
