Our latest edition of Dogpatch Stories looks into the history of Crane Cove Park. Now an it is an amazing park with a beach, dog park, coffee shop and kids play area. It’s Weekend 3 of ArtSpan’s SF Open Studios and 3RD ST cuts right through all of the neighborhoods. This weekend 100+ artists are opening their creative spaces in Dogpatch, East Cut, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill, SOMA, and South Beach. Support the efforts and output of the most local artists around…the ones who literally live, create, work, exhibit, eat, exist, and hustle around your corner, down your street, or on the next block. It’s the best way to ensure they stay here! • • • Weekend 3 has a lot of group sites, which is one way to plan your visits. There are 13 different group sites for Weekend 3! Find PAPER WORKS artist Pat O’Connor at the Dogpatch Collective, #10, at 1661 Tennessee St. The Noonan Building is right here at Pier 70, at Maryland and 21st St. here! • • • Weekend 3 also has a number of individual artists going it alone in garages, in-law units, or funky spaces. These can be some of the most special encounters of Open Studios. Visit them! • • • Pick-up a printed guide and maps on the table at the front of our PAPER WORKS exhibit in the Public Atrium of Bldg 12 at Pier 70.
