Our latest edition of Dogpatch Stories looks into the history of Crane Cove Park. Now an it is an amazing park with a beach, dog park, coffee shop and kids play area. But before 2020 it was not accessible to the public. Many relics from the industrial and shipbuilding past remain. Hear all about it here.

I used to live right across from The Ramp when the concrete factory was still there and the auto auctions and fish warehouses and the train still went down Illinois. Also Jim’s across from the current Restoration Hardware. That’s is the building Steph Curry was going to buy. ( Jim’s )

Wasn’t there a burger joint called Goldie’s down there in the 1980’s… with a boat launch?

Hi everybody little tired right now maybe I'll tell a story about crane Grove Park later on, right where Nick and Nora are sitting is where they built the BART tubes, I used to operate those cranes spent many hours in both of those cranes and I miss I haven't been down there yet since the park opened but I know it's really going to bring back great memories I operated every Crane in that yard and I spent a lot of time on crane 14 and crane 30 which is now Nick and Nora we were building barges in the seventies and the '80s I was a young crane operator back then in my younger years we lived in the hunters point projects when I was a kid but I will continue a little later on I was 18 years old when I started I'm 72 right now and I have some great memories anyway little tired will check in later my name is Bill Terry take care everybody
