obligatory summer post 🫪

6 months ago I dreaded August or any form of the future because of life situations but in all its corners and turns has made me learn a lot, I’ve shut down/shut off a lot, appreciate, change because i was thrown for a loop but grow and still growing at the big ol age of 33. I’m a mix bowl of emotions. Spent a month or so in Kansas training new mechanics on the planes yall fly on, made memories, went to Washington, thought a lot and got pissed over and over again then let it go. It’s the the end of August, I’m here, and happier than the beginning of it (my therapist will love to here that) 🥹

Our #1 most polarizing product is our Vanilla Bean Baking Soda Free Deodorant Stick. The scent is subtle, because we use real vanilla bean from the vanilla orchid, which leans more floral than sweet.

Want to give this controversial scent a go? We offer minis sizes of all our deodorant sticks so you can give any scent a try before committing to a full size 🍦

March dump, woof, what a month. Is getting older just like… realizing that each month feels never-ending while simultaneously being shocked that it went by so fast? While so much happened, there’s also not a ton of break down, but here we go:

📚: book count was 13 (7 physical, 6 audio). Between Spring Break and all the Art Focus prep, reading time was off the charts lol) Enjoyed reading with my husband, having our book club, and getting in lots of cozy cat snuggles during couch reads.

🎪: we had our Art Focus show!!! More on that to come in another post because there’s a lot to unpack there. All the hours put into it are so worth it once you see it all put together — it’s my baby :’)

🦊: I got to hug and see @destinyfrith!!!!! That was the most unexpected surprise for a Wednesday, and simultaneously the best lil treat I could ask for after having not seen each other for 2.5 years! Let’s please never got that long again!!! Thank you for all the giggles!

🏥: lol my least favorite March update was the one where we spent the last day of break in the hospital. Michael’s okay! Just some GI issues that we are still working to figure out. (Don’t worry, I asked if he was okay if I shared this photo — we can laugh about it now) Note to everybody to a) get sleep and really take note of your stress levels, and b) men, get your colonoscopy scheduled.

🐉: dudes, life is good when I’m just having half my class do dragon projects lol like yes, we are tying it in culturally with the Lunar New Year and #yearofthedragon, but little do they know their teacher is just obsessed with the #Empyrean Series, love you @rebeccayarros. These are 4th grade dragon eyes in progress with oil pastels.

Here’s to hopefully less chaotic April with no 12 hour days, but lol my calendar is already booked full so who am I kidding, but at least the new @emilyhenrywrites comes out this month 🥲

Veggie Burger Bowls are trending! 🔥🔥

@DestinyFrith made this mouth-watering bowl using our Black Bean Burger, @sintogourmet spicy kimchi, lettuce, tomato, red onion, sweet potato fries, and topped with magnifisauce. We're ready to dive in! 😋

A plan for sensitive armpits.

Aloe Rose All Over Lotion to prime and soothe. Then the deodorant of your choice.
