Music has helped many people stay positive in such challenging times. The first notes of a tune can transport us instantly to another time or place. Music can delight, move, challenge and speak to us in ways that nothing else can. Leonard Bernstein, whose words we are quoting today, helped reimagine Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet for contemporary New York & it became a hit film 60 years ago and still has so much to say to our times. Put some music on and lift your heart!
