It's Friday. Time for an extra special meal! Today, we suggest a Porchetta-Style Roasted Ciabatta for lunch, a recipe created by our friend @deveganizer .

Go to Jack's website and look at the recipes page, you can't miss it. It's an elaborative recipe that will require some time, but it's totally worth it. Scouts honor!

And yes, there's also a speedster version of the sandwhich for those that are more the quick-bite-type. You can do the following:

⏰ 20 min dish

🛒 Ingredients
- Naked Jack: raw jackfruit chunks
- BBQ spices: smoked paprika, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder
- Oil
- Bun
- Onions
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce
- Mayo

🧾 Recipe
1. Mix your favorite BBQ spices (we like the combination of smoked paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder) with a royal amount of (olive) oil and massage this mix into jackfruit chunks
2. Bake BBQ jackfruit for about 10 to 15 minutes at 180°C in the oven.
3. Let the jackfruit cool down a bit and use two forks to gently pull the chunks apart.
4. Say hello to pulled BBQ jackfruit and place it in your favorite bun
5. Time to add some lettuce, tomato, and onions
6. BBQ already has a rich taste of its own, but we can't blame you for adding some mayo to the mix.*

*We recommend @themayosisters

The simple version or the more elaborative one, we would love to see your sandwich! Take a snapshot and share it on Instagram at #fruitformeatlovers.

When we first tried these jackfruit cakes...HOLY *****

We baptized them right then and there: 'cut the crab cakes'.
Thank you @deveganizer for the sensational treat and for sharing the recipe on Jack's recipe page.

If you have a dinner party coming up, how cool is it to pronounce 'cut the crab' as you serve your guests?! Trust us, everyone will enjoy your🍈dish.

Naturally you want to try them yourself first. So 👉🏻 order some Naked Jack, take a look at the recipe, and get busy.

Remember, be strong, share a picture of your creation with us before you bite in. #fruitformeatlovers #jackfruitrecipes

Bake away the storm. A recipe to keep you entertained while you're stuck at home.

Look on the bright side, a storm is a great excuse to dive into the kitchen and get creative. It will take you a good 40 minutes to make this sandwich, but it's definitely worth the effort 💪🏻

To be fair, Jurgen made it last week for us at Food Union. So, we can only vouch for the taste, and we can envision having just enough patience to recreate the magic.

Jurgen, better known as @deveganizer , has a special sweet spot for Jack. 😍When a chef starts posting pictures of his delicious looking jackfruit creations, you can expect a call from Jack! And when they got together in Jack's kitchen, the pancetta was just one of the many things that came out.

More recipes are coming up soon. Have you subscribed to our recipe alert yet? 😌
