Development is the NBA of real estate 🏀🏗️ Former professional basketball player Rashad Jones Jennings didn’t stop competing when he left the court. Today, he’s leading a $60M+ community revitalization project in the neighborhood where he grew up—creating affordable housing, teaching others how to invest, and proving that real estate can create both wealth and lasting impact. One thing that stood out in this conversation: “Everybody has a plan until they get hit. Great operators make in-game adjustments.” That mindset is what separates professionals from everyone else. Watch the full conversation on our YouTube channel to hear how Rashad evaluates deals, manages risk, and is building much more than homes. 🔗 Full episode available now on YouTube. Chattanooga lost somebody. Our hearts are heavy for the family of Daniel “DeeJay” Jackson-Gladden — a young life, a bright light, taken far too soon. 💔 To Danielle, James, and the entire Jackson-Gladden family — we see you, we love you, and we’re standing with you through this. Crown3 League was built on the belief that community shows up for each other, especially in moments like this. So next Sunday, July 26, we’re bringing the whole city together at East Hamilton High School to show love the way we know how — with music, with competition, with community. Vendors. Live DJ. 3v3 pro basketball. 5 PM. Come out. Bring your family. Celebrate his life and make some noise with the people who loved him. No one grieves alone here — let’s wrap our arms around this family together. Rest easy, DeeJay. 🕊️ 👑 Chattanooga, we need you there. Pop out. FIRST SEEK TO UNDERSTAND It’s easy to say, “What’s wrong with you?” but it’s more helpful to say, “What happened to you?” Educators often see the smoke from a fire that was set well before the child walked in the room. This is why it’s important to understand the impact or trauma and what we can do to create safe environments for them to learn and grow. #education #parenting #athletics #schools

Great times‼️ It was good to catch up with a lot of people who I have not seen in 20yrs. Coach Shields, my trainer Swit, Strength Coach Barron, broadcasters like Ray etc….. A lot of people couldn’t make it. Big thanks to Brandy Sweeden for putting this together. After 20yrs this award is finally coming home with me‼️ Big shoutout to @flanago who recruited me. He stayed with me throughout the whole recruiting process, even after I committed to every school I visited 😂 It came down to UALR & Oregon and based off relationships I went with UALR. Me & Coach Flan been rocking for 22yrs and counting. Big thanks to my Juco coaches and @coachjprice10 @t_glove3 @keithabooker and Coach Williams for being hard on us so when we got on the court it was easy work. Playing against grown men daily definitely helped, players my age turned into food‼️ These are the type of coaches you’d run through a brick wall for. Big shoutout to my teammates. We had some wars and hopefully yall enjoyed going to war with me like I enjoyed going to war with yall (some of yall at least 😂) I use to tell my shooters “shoot it, ain’t nobody getting the rebound but me” lol . #GoodTimes It was a great day. #sportsbusiness #retiredathlete #shadzilla #rebound

Honored to speak at Chattanooga Prep at their annual “Breakfast of Champions” event. The goal was to inspire the youth & leave them with something that they can take with them. Thanks for having me and I can’t wait to do it again‼️ Then I went by all of our sites and had meetings in the afternoon. Prepping for the sewer test tomorrow. #AllInADaysWork #postpro #guestspeaker #chattprep #charterschool #chattanooga #dominate #findanexcusetowin

Honored to be speaking at the Family Office Club on the Athletes Panel. Can’t wait to add value to the group and tell the stories that need to be told from an Athlete’s perspective. There’s a lot of life to live once the ball stops and the end is coming whether you’re prepared for it or not so you might as well be prepared. Sports may have been all you’ve done up until this point but that’s not all that you are. Tap into those transferable skills and use them in business. The grit, determination, discipline, team work, & leadership can all be transferred; you just have to be willing to dedicate yourself to your second career. Feels like Game Day all over again‼️ #LetsGetIt #postpro #sportsbusiness #shadzilla #development #construction #retiredathlete #realestatedevelopment #makeitoutdoubleback #revitalization #neighborhood #assemblageking #realestate #fiba #nba #nfl #nil #mlb #ufc #wba #familyoffice #transition

@developingathletes sits down with Retired Pro Baller bri1906 & talks spending $80K in one offseason & losing $180K on a high risk investment. These are the types of conversations we need to have in order to elevate the mindset of athletes. Sometimes we think we will play forever & if you don’t plan your exit until it’s too late it makes the transition more difficult. Ask questions and make sure that you understand the investment fully. Ask what are the risk. Know best case & worst case scenarios for each investment. Tune in to watch the full episode on YouTube “Post Pro Shadzilla” #DevelopingAthletes #retiredathlete #sportsbusiness #postpro #shadzilla #development #construction #realestatedevelopment #realestate #makeitoutdoubleback #developingathletes #ballislife #nba #fiba #nfl #mlb #ufc #transition
