SWIPE to see some xhit >>>

I got tattooed by James Tex a couple days before his last art show “The Deadly Block Party”. While tattooing a tiger on my knee we talked about the idea for the next art show would be “wood cut outs”. After I was healed up I got to work on an idea that I had and even brought it to the #calgarytattooconvention @canadatattoofestivals

I’m doing a new one for @cut_that_xhit_out
But I figured it was a good time to show some progress shots and video of it coming together
I’ve had this one hung up at the south studio I think it might be the biggest painting I’ve ever done @capitaltattooo780

The art show is October 15th @arrowheadcalgary
@cut_that_xhit_out due date is October 1st!!!
If anyone needs help cutting one out I’d be happy to help. Probably going to do a couple art nights to finish up the project. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with :)

The first @shouldersofgiants.seminars was a complete success!

All the presenting artists were SO worth every minute of knowledge they dropped on us! Thank you @drkturcotte @shaemotztattoos @horihyo @mikekennytattoos for sharing all your info on tattooing and your careers in art and tattoos.

There’s so much to process! Myself and @dweebdesigns left fully inspired and with loads of new information to apply to this craft that has given us so much!

A MASSIVE Thank You to the organizers and hosts @devinboutcher @jackassica @capitaltattoo780 @lil_kewpie for all your hard work! I cannot wait to see what come next and to keep supporting such a intensive space for tattoo education being created.

Props to any artists who made time to attend, or put themselves in the hot seat for Critiques from all these legends! That’s not an easy position to put yourself in- so congrats on being vulnerable and putting yourself out there.

Give all these presenters a follow- and make sure to be at the next Shoulders Of Giants Seminar block- you won’t be disappointed.

And now- onto @albertatattooshows
