POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My parents have moved me in and out of every apartment I’ve ever lived in, whether it was in a different city or a different country.

This move felt different in some ways. I’m a wife now, a mother, moving my own family into our first home. But in many ways, it feels exactly the same, with my parents showing up, like they always have.

This time, they came for two weeks to unpack every single box we brought from New York. Replacing light bulbs, fixing doors, taking countless measurements, making endless Costco runs, and doing a million little things to help us make this house feel like home.

And all I’ve been thinking this whole time is: this is the whole point. To raise children who grow up knowing that no matter how old they get or how much their lives change, they can always look to you and know you’ll be there.

My parents are my best friends. They have shown up for me in every season and every stage of my life, and now that I’m a mom, I realize even more how lucky I am to have been loved this way.

This is exactly the kind of parent I hope to be ❤️ #firsttimemom #parenting #motherhood

What you put on your body matters just as much as what you put in it.

Your skin is your body's largest organ, and every day it deserves ingredients chosen with intention, transparency, and care.

At Femme Botanicals, we believe trust is one of the most important ingredients in any skincare routine. That's why we focus on thoughtfully selected botanicals, science-backed ingredients, and honest formulations designed to support mature skin without unrealistic promises or fear-based marketing.

You deserve to know what you're using.

You deserve products created with integrity.

And you deserve a skincare routine that feels like an act of self-respect, not self-criticism.

Because caring for your skin should never be about chasing youth.

It should be about honoring the beautiful, resilient skin that has carried you through a lifetime of experiences.

I hosted an event last month and I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it.
Rooted Together was a gathering for women to put down every hat they wear — the mum hat, the work hat, the everything-for-everyone hat — and just be.
We moved. We created. We wrote letters. We laughed and sat in the kind of silence that actually feels full rather than empty.
And at the end of the evening I looked around that room and felt love. Pure, overwhelming love for every woman in that space and for the fact that gatherings like this are possible.
Two years ago I would not have believed I would be the one creating them.
But here we are. And this is just the beginning. 🌿
If you want to be part of the next one — stay close. Details coming soon. 👇

🌸Today, on Mother’s Day, we honour mothers-to-be, mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, grieving mothers, those longing to become parents, those navigating loss, chosen families, caregivers, mother figures, transgender mothers, nonbinary parents, individuals of all gender identities, and the ancestors whose light, wisdom, and love continue to live through us every single day.

🌸For some, today is filled with joy, celebration, gratitude, and connection. For others, it may carry grief, longing, absence, estrangement, or quiet ache. Wherever this Mother’s Day finds you, your experience is valid and worthy of tenderness.

🌸Thank you for your devotion, your endless love, and the countless seen and unseen ways you nurture the lives around you. The power of your love moves mountains, heals generations, and creates safety, belonging, and hope for those who need it most. Your wisdom stays with us. Your care shapes us. Your belief in us gives us the courage to become who we are meant to be.

🌸No matter where you are on the journey, may you remember that you are — and always will be — held by a love far greater than words. A love so timeless, so pure, and so boundless that it transcends distance, identity, loss, and time itself.

🩷A love that will never leave you. 🩷
