The story of Mediject isn’t the story of the woman who built it. It’s the story of the people who spent pieces of their lives building it with her.

An email landed in my inbox this week with an end date on it.
And suddenly, I could see four years.
Not in revenue, courses launched or delegates trained.

I could see it in ordinary days.

Hundreds of conversations. Long hours. Things that spectacularly failed. Small wins that felt enormous. Stumbles. Successes. And the people beside me through all of it.

We speak so much about who we become building businesses, and far less about the people who gave their ordinary hours to help us build them.

Because someone who joins your business gives you thousands of ordinary hours of their finite life.
In effect: “I’ll spend this chapter helping you build that.”

Some knew Mediject when it was barely Mediject. They knew the early business. The early me. They watched us flourish and stumble.
Some stayed. Some left. Some are still writing this chapter.

People aren’t supposed to stay forever. They grow. Babies arrive. Careers change. Life changes.
When you create a place where people grow, you don’t always get to keep the version of them you helped nurture. You get the privilege of accompanying them through part of their life. And them, yours.

Endings illuminate time passed.

We’re so often building the chapter while inside it that we forget:
This is a chapter.
These are my people.
One day I will miss this.

My North Star is simple: To create spaces where people leave believing more in themselves than when they arrived.
I thought that was about our delegates and patients. I’m realising it belongs to my team too.

My responsibility is to make our chapter meaningful. To notice them while they’re here.
Because people don’t need to stay for something to have been permanent in its effect.

Some people help us build.
Some people witness us becoming.
Some stay. Some leave.
And some leave parts of themselves behind in the thing we built together.

To everyone who has given some of their ordinary hours to ours:
I see you. Thank you.

What a privilege it has been to build alongside you.
And what a privilege it still is.
