Please join us at the Crandell Theatre (@crandelltheatre) on Thurs, Nov 12, 7pm for the premiere of “Witness: dancing across boundaries”

You can buy tickets by visiting our link in bio or on the Crandell’s website: https://crandelltheatre.org/film/witness-dancing-across-boundaries/

The 13-minute documentary by cinematographers Angela Beallor (@angelabeallor) and Devin Pickering (@devinpickering) follows Sondra Loring’s (@sloring19) journey from prison volunteer to founder of MovingPotential, as well as Eric Cherry’s path from the classroom to the stage.

“Witness” is a fascinating look at the yoga and dance classes Sondra led for men at Greene Correctional Facility, and the creative connection built between incarcerated participants and outside artists.

The evening includes a screening, a live panel, and a performance excerpt. Then stick around for food, drinks, and a chance to meet the artists and connect with fellow MovingPotential supporters.

All proceeds support MovingPotential’s work bringing trauma-informed yoga, movement, and mindfulness to people impacted by justice and addiction.

What better way to mark our 10th wedding anniversary than to post our wedding video for the very first time. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect You.

Behind the scenes on production for “The Keeper”.

By the time we got around to shooting this film we had already shot hundreds of hours on the Hudson producing Hudson River Stories for @jonbowermaster and had really gotten the hang of it. We usually split up into two units with one camera aboard the Fletcher and another on a follow boat, usually on a gimbal. Occasionally we’d mix in some aerials but we had started to get bored of drone work as we found it had become a crutch and a stand in for more thoughtfully produced shots. We’ve been getting a lot of feedback over how pretty the film is but honestly, the river itself, in the right light and weather is 90% of the formula.
