Where in the world is Mr. Devon Beck, our Recruitment and Retention Facilitator? He traveled to Morgan State University for the first time on September 30 and was extremely impressed with the staff and students he met!

He will continue looking for the best and the brightest future educators to join the TCPS team TODAY (10/1/26) at his alma mater, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, from 11:00 am-3:00 pm.

His next stops are at Towson University on October 16, and Bowie State University on November 4!

As always, he is looking for individuals dedicated to helping our young people reach their highest potential! If you know a student at these Universities, send them his way!

Soooooo…we’re currently fundraising now until October 2 for new uniforms, team bonding events, snacks, cheer supplies, and all the fun things that make the season EXTRA special! 📣🧡🖤 And listen… Skylar has a little goal of her own! She wants to be the cheerleader with the MOST DONORS! Soooo I’m calling on my girlies, INTERNET AUNTIES, family, friends, cheer moms, cousins, everybody! LOL! On Monday, I had the opportunity to travel to The Country School to facilitate a reflection workshop with their teachers before summer break.

It was a powerful experience to celebrate the meaningful work accomplished throughout the year and recognize the lasting impact these educators have made in the lives of their students. We shared plenty of laughs, reflected on growth, and acknowledged the incredible strides made both inside and outside the classroom.

Ending the year with gratitude, perspective, and a renewed sense of purpose was truly inspiring.

Thank you to The Country School for trusting Beck Excellence to be part of this important moment. Wishing all of the teachers and staff a well-deserved summer break!

And…her big decision is @bowiestateuniversity. She officially completed her commitment and made her first deposit! Ayyyyeeeee! It’s such an honor! I attended #BowieStateUniversity as well and was a part of @bowiestatecheer. Fingers crossed she tries out for the cheer team! 📣 Touring the campus with Taylor was so nostalgic! The upgrades are impeccable! I’m so proud of her decision and I can’t wait to see Taylor blossom into her own! There will be more updates soon! Until then…please give Taylor some advice in comments!
