Last week after all the excitement about VO Euro Retreat, there was a point where I thought to cancel it. Things get complicated, and priorities change very fast.

But as life has showed me time and time again, we can’t rush processes, and there are seasons, when we are going to have to hold space for both joy and frustration .
Uncertainty and faith.

And I am so glad I went ! (not only for gorgeous location and amazing food) but because once again, I left with a full heart and new friends who I truly admire. People who I share the same dreams with. Who also know the highs and the lows of this career.

I got to learn from coaches, whose brilliance can only be compared to their warmth and grace in meeting us where we are, and pushing us towards more. Gracias @ctcvo @beevonyc @terencewithanf @dammitjanet1115 @tinamorasco @jonarmond @seanpratt

Gracias @jmcdemos, @acevents_acollins_ (and @jessicamathison_vo ! ) for taking care of every little detail to make this week unforgettable.

My first-ever EuroVO Retreat. 🇪🇸💃🏖️

It would be the absolute worst if you hate traveling internationally, sunshine and the beach, laughing, eating gourmet meals, learning from VO royalty, inside jokes, and making lifelong friends.

Fortunately for me, I LOVE those things so it’s safe to say this was the best week ever. I am beyond grateful to @jmcdemos and @acevents_acollins_ for using their love and gifting to host us.

Words rarely escape me, but when it’s that good only the photos will do.

Did Atlanta/VOA conference a little different this year... spending time with old high school and college friends that live there now and exploring Atlanta a bit more while dropping in on VO Atlanta to hang and catch up with my voiceover family. Definitely needed to be around all of you guys and had so many great conversations about the industry and life, that I forgot to take pictures with most of you. But had a real dope weekend, it was definitely needed. Next year I'm taking one of those Porsches for a lap around the track. Who's ridin' wit me? 🏁🏎️

What an awesome way to start this year's conference! Had the most excellent X-Session in TV Narration led by @thompinto ! Keynote speaker @rob_paulsen delivered a great message that reminded us about remembering WHY we're voice actors in the first place and staying grounded in the present in our lives.

This is such a proud moment. Having coached Devon through the CBS Talent Spotlight that he won, it’s incredibly rewarding to see his spot now airing on CBS LA. His growth during the competition was remarkable — a true example of what preparation, mentorship, and perseverance can lead to. Congratulations to Devon and to the entire SOVAS community for nurturing talent in such a meaningful way.
