Tickets for Mr Handel’s Christmas Story at Exeter Cathedral are now available, with adult tickets starting at just £12! 🎁 For our last Gabrieli Roar Christmas Tour in 2024, we braved Storm Darragh in order to get to our young singers at @exetercathedral. There we supported local schools and choir groups from across Devon rise to the challenge of learning complicated four-part music together by ear – and performing it to a sold-out audience. We had such a blast, and so we are delighted to be making our return to Exeter once again this November in partnership with @devonmusicedhub 🎉 We will be filling Exeter's historic building with Handel’s riveting Hallelujah chorus in Gabrieli Roar's classical Christmas compilation of Handel's greatest works: Mr Handel’s Christmas Story. Link in bio to book your ticket now, with Under 18s going completely free! 🎥 "Day 9 of A Grand Georgian Christmas: Exeter." Watch the full video on our Youtube! @studio_2359

🏆 WIN BATTLE OF THE BANDS. RECORD YOUR DEBUT SINGLE. That’s exactly what @pariah_live did. After winning the 2026 Devon Secondary Schools Battle of the Bands, they came to The Source Studio to make their first record. And they didn’t exactly make life easy for themselves… 🔥 Complex, changing time signatures 🎸 An ambitious, constantly shifting arrangement 🎤 23 separate layers of vocal harmonies All built into one seriously sophisticated debut single — recorded in a day. Young bands don’t have to start small. Sometimes you just need to give them the time, space and opportunity to show what they can do. 👉 Read the Pariah story: The Source Studio — Exeter https://thesourcestudioexeter.com/pariah-record-debut-single-at-the-source-studio

Good things, including debut singles, come in threes! We’ve been really busy since the Source Studio opened in April! We’re currently finalising mixes for some awesome new bands that have recorded with us and that you’ll absolutely love!!! So look out for releases from Neo punk rock band @nevik_band, Indie rockers @cicada_band_official and prog rock from @pariah_live, who have all recorded at the Source Studio this summer. The songs are all being mixed by the Award-Winning @petemartenmusic and sounding amazing! However, it takes a lot longer than people realise from first recording, to release. In between there’s desk mixes, then mix notes and a playlist of reference songs to be pulled together and sent with the desk mix to the mixing & mastering engineer. Then you have the time it takes for the band to listen on a range of speakers to the first mixes, send us their feedback & comments and then the changes requested for up to 5 mix revisions, more mixes, more comments until everyone has a track they are proud to release. Then there’s the admin; registering publishing and creating logos, stockpiling photos, a bio and list of gigs for the EPK. Not forgetting the single artwork and creation of a Distrokid account to get the song on to Spotify. And then there’s the launch campaign, uploading to BBC Introducing, the pre save link, launch campaign and reviews, playlists, radio play and gigs to promote the single!! Cant wait for you all to hear this batch of amazing songs. See our Artist Case Studies to find out more; https://thesourcestudioexeter.com/artist-case-studies 🎶🎤🍾🎵🎸 #exeterrecordingstudio #emergingartistshowcase
