2026 PLU NATIONALS

First time I've gotten to bring multiple people to a big meet like this and had the pleasure of handling 2 of my coaches clients as well.
.
By n large all goals were made, records captured and prs had. As a coach i couldn't be more proud of all of them. I won't post any lifts so they can post what they want and have their moments. Watching people's progression is by far and wide my favorite thing about coaching people.
.
Memories I'll cherish until the day I die
.
And.... before I go...... I need to give a MASSIVE thank you to @xx__chris_2.0_xx . We've been all over the country together for meets and I couldn't have done this weekend without your help!

✨️A Love Letter to Powerlifting ✨️

After chatting with @davidthebeastdouglas in the warmup room I had a moment to remind myself I have been in and around powerlifting for a decade now.
.
A lifter
A coach
A spotter/loader
A ref
.
Ive seen trends/brands/people/feds come and go. All claiming to be the best new thing. Usually gone in the following couple years. One thing that remains constant is that powerlifting is a vessel for all of the good it can be for the people who choose to participate in it
.
The kid who got put in a position to be made to feel weak who learns how to be strong
.
The person who has low confidence finding a new sense confidence in their success and progression
.
The person who never were had success finding friends, finding a whole new community
.
But the best thing ive found is the amount of people and friends ive been able to meet thru powerlifting.
.
I am grateful for all of them. All of the places I've gotten to see all over the country because of it.

Had a cap of 429+60 today and thats what i did. Felt very easy. Excited to see what we put together in the coming weeks ....I really need to find my singlet 🤣

Squats with some of my favorite people.
.
This 415 moved way faster than the last time I tried this much chain with a Yukon.
.
Took a swing at 465+150 but made a couple technical errors that cost me. Felt very light on my back and im confident were moving in the right direction.
.
This last set of hack squats will be why I walk funny the next few days. Video is sped up a bit cuz the actual set is just shy of 2 minutes long
.

First off, I’d like to thank @bubs.lifts and @bvu.lifts for taking time out of their day to show up to spot me for this comeback PR. They said they would show up for me couple days prior and they delivered. Grateful and blessed for that 🫵🏻🥹

High key, the whole time, I was afraid something was gonna snap that whole set because the last time I felt this good and the RPE was relatively close to this, my right quad left the chat, but I trusted the rehab I’ve been putting in and told myself I could do it.

God is good.

What friggin vibe tonight was 🫵🏻🤠

Squats haven’t felt this good in a long time. We are slowly inching are way back to mid 400s for rep work and as always, we pain free baby! Felt good for 500+ if singles were on the menu. We continue to ride the wave.
