As an avid reader, I am forever seeking books that will speak to my soul ... and this one did. Written by a man that I’m honoured to call my friend, Roger DiBattista, who retells the stories of his childhood and young life as one afflicted with hydrocephalus, and the challenges he faced, as well as the victories. In some moments, you can feel the rawness of his emotion but it was always followed through with persistence and positivity.... and gratitude (the healer of all things). When I met Roger and his lovely and supportive wife a few years ago, all I saw was a warm, lighthearted, kind, successful and friendly man ... with a slight limp maybe. I would never have guessed that he had faced a lifetime of health challenges and overcame them with such pride and force. Kudos to you my friend for sharing your life experiences with the world and for demonstrating a life filled with with love and light, even in the hardest of times. In your book you point out all the heroes in your life, but it is you, yourself, that are the hero of this book ❤️🙏🏻 (PS your book now sits next to my cherished “A course in miracles”, for good reason)
