POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Krysta from @dibsdeco was a great guest tonight on Between2Woodworkers. She does amazing mosaics and has stories of renovating old 1930’s homes around the Utah Valley. Be sure to check her live out. Thanks!

We are missing Tiana so we need another trip VERY soon. And we need to put together a "Maker Fest" because there are just so many of you that are absolutely amazing and I want to meet you in person ❤️

The gorgeous art for this tiny home exterior was custom made by Crysta from @dibsdeco.

My husband Matt @foxietinyhomes had the vision, and really all I did was pick out the paint color for the door 😅

This audio really resonates with me; having never considered myself an “artist,” I have nevertheless always had the desire to create.

Internalizing the idea that anything can be learned opens so many possibilities. I still dream of learning to sing beautifully, although I absolutely have zero natural talent for it 🙃

What is something you desire to create but don’t feel you have the skills for (yet)?

Every home has so much potential!

When I first started doing design for remodels, I honestly thought that anyone could do what I do (just a little bit of imposter syndrome over here!).

But I soon realized how difficult it is for most people to visualize their home the way that I have learned to.

Seeing the possibilities, imagining, and creating beautiful spaces is what I live for. I absolutely love what I do, and I’m so grateful that my skills and vision fill a need for so many people.

🤩Those beams tho! They really steal the show to me.

Tell me your favorite part of this transformation!👇🏽

This week we’ll be finishing up the Rockin Basement project, and hopefully 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 making some progress on the tiny home.

In a few short weeks we’ll begin a new primary suite remodel. Let’s just say there are skylights, beams, and custom barn doors involved. Pretty much my 3 favorite things!

Tiny home update!!

We are within weeks of finishing this (elegant) cutie! The exterior is done except for adding molding and paint to the front door.

And yes! This one is for sale! DM me for more info. ☺️

Well makers…we’re having our own March Madness here at the Jagged Plum. But ours is “Monochrome Madness”. Yes that’s right, ONE color only for this month’s challenge. You can do shades only by adding white and black 😉

We’re excited to see where this challenge takes you all! Remember to tag us in posts of your finished pieces and use the hashtag #monochromemadnessjpc

You gotta see the before on this one!!👉🏽

I wasn’t going to post today, but I just had to share this shot of the Bachelor Pad project.

It’s funny how I’m still shocked when I go through the before and after photos of my projects. The difference is surprising—every time!

And there’s no filter whatsoever on these photos. Just the raw reality captured on camera.

Photos like this remind me of why I love what I do so much. It’s so motivating—I want to keep learning and growing as a designer (and builder!)

Here’s to a wonderful 2022! 😘Happy New Year, friends!
