𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: Earlier this week, student-athletes from across country came together in Washington D.C. to advocate in support of the Protect College Sports Act!

Throughout the day, student-athletes made their voices heard with key leaders of the bill, sharing their stories about what college athletics means to them and how the Protect College Sports Act would protect those very opportunities.

Proud of former FDU men’s volleyball player Diego Diaz (MSA ‘26), who recently spoke at Protect College Sports Act Press Conference on Capitol Hill!

Diego currently serves as the Chair of NCAA Division I SAAC, advocating on behalf of all student-athletes!

Last meeting is adjourned 👨🏻‍⚖️

The past 3 years on the Division I Student-Athlete Advocacy Committee have been incredibly rewarding. It’s been an honor to serve, represent, and elevate student-athletes across the nation. SAAC offered countless experiences, provided me with valuable connections, shaped my leadership skills, and taught me the significance in using your voice.

Thank you, @ncaa_d1saac 💙

civics in the city 💄🏙️

What an amazing experience! The Team has cultivated a unique platform where athletes can explore their civic passions outside of their sport. I am forever grateful to have been given the opportunity to have been part of the 2025-2026 cohort. I met amazing fellow athletes who hold the same passion for civics as I do. I am excited to see what tomorrow brings as we continue to make impact in our local communities.

Student Athletes who are currently in college right now, apply for @theteamdotorg 2026-2027 cohort! Applications are open now! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity you won’t want to miss :) Be an Engaged Student Athlete!
