This film was a deeply personal and soulful journey — one that asked us to sit with stillness, grief, and the quiet spaces in between. Hace unos años la vida nos llevó por geografías distantes y caminos separados, cada quien sanando y afanándose en lo suyo, en permanecer creativos y vivos y con fuerzas en este mundo incierto. Y es en este último reencuentro que me doy cuenta de lo lejos que has llegado y lo mucho que has crecido y el amor y orgullo que yo siento por ti, mi hermano menor. Dichosos estos días en que hemos podido abrazarte y reír contigo con tu humor tan peculiar, ese ser un tanto cascarrabias y al mismo tiempo tan adorable que siempre has sido. Que donde sea que viajes, siempre estés volviendo a casa y que, en esta nueva travesía desconocida, tengas la claridad para elegir el recorrido más afortunado, la fortaleza para caminarlo con gracia y la apertura de espíritu para gozarlo y aprender en él. A couple of months ago I officially became a Master of Producing from The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) 🤩🧑‍🎓 The past few years have been a wild ride but hands down one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I couldn’t have done it without my support network - the best husband in the world @drrhysvdr, my three little munchkins (who, let’s be honest, were mostly in it for the celebratory cake) and my wider family - thank you 🙏
I’ve had the privilege of learning from incredible lecturers and industry pros, and I’m so grateful for the supportive community and network I’m now a part of—thank you @aftrs
During my Master’s, I produced nine films I’m really proud of—including four graduate films that are now starting to make their way around the festival circuits. I had the joy of collaborating with some of the most wildly talented people I’ve ever met! My lifers now, you know who you are, thank you and I can’t wait to work with you all again and again!!
