My 3rd Burn, and my 2nd year leading @monkeykingandfriends — but somehow, the Playa already feels like a home I’ve known forever. This is the culture we’re talking about. Less makeup. Less pretending. Just real shit.

Hello Humanos 🌀🌹🕊️

Walking the medicine wheel of the seasons and elements, the embodiment of spiraling into truth, love, and connectivity with all that is living.

My relationship to my womb, to our earth mother, and to deep listening has revealed a profound severance from these forces of nature that move through us as spirit itself.

It is in right relationship with these elements that we learn mastery and right relationship with our own bodies, emotions, and earth. Dragon medicine.

It’s how we wield fire without destroying:
Power / Precision / Transformation / Purification

Water without collapsing:
Tending / Feeling / Cleansing / Sensuality

Earth without hardening:
Rest / Return / Nourishment / Rooting

Air without scattering:
Effortless Movement / Listening / Breath

How do we get out of the looping? The disconnection and numbing? Out of the sameness? How do we get back to vitality and truth? To break down these walls between ourselves and inner freedom? Profound love and purpose? Clarity?

It is connection to the living sentient force within and around us. What do we feel? How do we not drown in feeling but learn to steward the soil of the body, of the spirit, to find unity between the mind and the body? The humans and the earth.

The language of the mother. The mother tongue that all things speak. Now we return through her elemental forces, through her spiral of creation. We become.

The path to becoming someone that you love, you respect, you look in the mirror and admire…is full of challenges.

I view these challenges as initiations. Opportunities to grow, and become something more than I was before.

Lately I’ve been reflecting on how much I’ve grown and changed this year, on who I’ve become through the initiations this year has brought. My journey as a creative, an artist.

This year has taken me through moments that have forced me to level up, and become more. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Become someone you respect.

An ancient memory of Earth and Sky

An original memory

Can we center life again? No question. We must. The memory that lives of our ancestors within our bones beats like a drum for us to surrender our weight to our Mother Earth and let it be composted into new life.

To learn as we let go of what no longer serves this life within us, around us.

And to embrace what does. Oh we embrace it, we feel it in every cell, every radiation of our being.
A concept no longer suffices, it’s a lived reality we eat, breath, taste, radiate.
