We are putting on a FREE concert in support of 🇵🇸 at the San José Peace and Justice Center. I will be DJing the Dance Afterparty ❤️ For more info, head to BABA G! We are planning another show in July as well!

June 3-28 We Will Rock You with @sanjosestage I am so honored to be apart of this cast, as ensemble! We will be performing 6 times a week in June. I have never performed this much in my life, but I am so excited to challenge myself. I am finally singing and acting on stage after 10 years!

I am so grateful for all of my opportunities! It is truly an honor to be able to do this! I hope to see you all this summer <3

hi i have several things to caption this

if you've been here, you know we support palestine! donate money to my friend Mohammed this week if you are able to. my friend needs medicine to live. also i started an organization of artists @bayareabandsandartists.ag check us out and consider a follow! i originally started running events for 🍉 when Mohammed gave me the idea. We've collected donations for his survival, along with his family on 9 in 🇵🇸

Mohammed graciously started an organization too! @sociedade_beit_al_khair Consider sharing and donating.

being nostalgic about dancing while also seeing, in real time, cycles of history being repeated! fuck billionaires and free the oppressed. the land stolen. and ruined. our poor mother earth !!!!!!!!!!! what have we done to you?

this video contains an unedited recording of the first 2 mins and 12 seconds of me remembering choreo from 6 years ago. i started dancing from 3-5 years old. i want a data analyst to analyze me and create a graph of retention (not ai fuck you)

this season, im bringing vibes every (other) week!! you're gonna see some flowy sad girl dancing, some femme dancing, some queer girl dancing, all in some form of (probably alternative) hip hop, rnb, and house music. don't be afraid to switch it up with me sometimes. i'll do you the favor of giving you the song in advance. listen and study before coming to class. most likely im hitting the snares (the evens) and lyrics lmao.

i truly try to explore my artistry through my gender expression and that helps my mindset going into other classes and daily life as well!! this course is designed not to challenge you choreography wise (bc ik you can get the movement down girl) but your intention, character, and understanding of the music. i used to sing back then. iykyk. but it bled into my dancing and now i feel like my movement is my instrument. you get me??

if you've ever talked to me about dance you know this approach and what i want to accomplish here. im so hungry for this. but yalll ATE!!! so now im full. thank you tian, azita, vivian, iya, and val for pulling through. i'll never forget this class :((((

"We dance to honor our ancestors that could not" - Cristy Ferrer

The (Baku)NAWA project incorporates dances derived from Black and Filipino cultures. We recognize the need for these dances to revolt against systemic oppression and colonization.

On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, the NAWA project performed for the People's Concert for Palestine in Cupertino, California. All proceeds were donated to ProstheticsforPalestine.org

Thank you @dimadancing for letting me learn this piece ⭐ such an amazing dancer, choreographer, and teacher 💚

This routine was very out of my usual element and I had so much fun recreating it. It inspired me to experiment with the way I dance, and as time goes on and I get better I hope to branch out with more dance styles as well and go with the flow
