Fourteen GNG girls…one room full of women leading women. Our first field trip of the second season brought us back to Cardinal Wrestling Club at Stanford, where the young ones get to see women coaching, competing, and making their own way in this sport. The returning girls couldn’t wait to show the new girls around. Someone watching asked how to sign up. There were tumbles, laughter, and proud little moments, the kind that become core memories. So much of wrestling’s beauty lives in those connections. Thank you to all the coaches who shared the mat last night and continue to make room for these girls. What a way to set the tone for the season. Keep it up, ladies. There’s a long road ahead and so much to look forward to. #CWC ❤️🤼‍♀️💜GNG

Grit N Grace began with a vision and a belief in what was possible for the young ladies in our area. Every practice, every lesson, every girl who walks through the door helps bring that vision to life. To those who have shown up, believed in the mission, and supported the work: thank you. GNG is still growing, and every bit of encouragement matters. As GNG looks toward a new year, new goals, and new possibilities, there is so much joy in knowing who is walking alongside us. Welcome to our house. There’s room to grow here. “Gratitude is remembering, even as we look ahead, the people who helped us get here.”

“I want to be in the room where it happens.” Where girls find their strength, find their people, and find out what they’re capable of. Where they wrestle, lead, laugh, and push each other to grow. That’s the room Grit N Grace is building. Every practice.

“Once you’ve wrestled, everything else in life is easy.” — Dan Gable Behind these moments are parents, coaches, community, and supporters who give this sport their time, energy, and heart. Thank you to SCVWA and everyone investing in these young wrestlers. What you put into it shows. The proof is in these ladies their growth, their effort, and how they show up for each other. Let’s keep it going 💜

Coming off an AMAZING tournament weekend and right back to work. This week at GNG, we keep building. Show up, stay consistent, take what we learned on the mat and get a little better every day. A few reminders: • No dance this week. Dance resumes Monday, October 26 at 6:30 PM. • Regular GNG practices continue this week. • Menlo College Intrasquad is this weekend, if you’re going, you’re in for a treat. A great chance for our ladies to see college wrestling up close. New week. Same standard. Keep showing up, ladies.

What a way to open the season. A huge turnout for our first tournament, and a great clinic to kick it all off. Big shout out to Angelo Posada, Collin Guffey, and Coach Gray for giving their time and knowledge to the next generation. Seeing this many wrestlers, coaches, and families come together is something special. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. Santa Clara Valley wrestling showed up today.
