hello 2025 ♡

and hello to you guys 🫣 it's been a MINUTE! i'm very late to the 5 top fives post so i decided to turn it into my yearly media wrap-up 😁 it has not been the most productive year reading-wise and i didn't read enough books that stuck out to me, but there are still a few that i loved!! i'm hoping 2025 brings in more five star reads and less dnfs 🙏🏻

the past year has been a turning point in my life and such a huge shift from all the previous years. i've changed so much and learned so much, like patience and determination and how to keep myself going despite getting to rock bottom. i've also had some of the best experiences of my life that i'm eternally cherishing. i met some incredible people who have been a light in my life during the roughest times and even in the happy times ! it's been a bittersweet year, but a blessed one regardless 🤍 hoping this new year brings me and you the most wonderful memories and achievements !!

so I’m currently reading all the tides and fate which is the second book of the series. I’m enjoying but it’s a bit of a slow start..

I’ve been watching the new star wars series acolyte, hometown cha cha cha and my lady jane, all of which I’m enjoying and it’s the perfect blend of genres! loving the romance in my lady jane sm 🫶🏽

• what I’m looking forward to:

it’s finally my summer break so I’m looking forward to all the summer plans, reading, coffee dates, hopefully going to the beach and it’s also wedding season which is fun!!

wow.. what a busy month! feel like there’s been soo much going on that I haven’t had much time to just breathe. but also, I am loving the weather recently, I feel like it has really uplifted my mood at times. also l’ve seen the TTPD everywhereee and I still need to listen to a few more but my faves so far are probably so long london, down bad and the black dog (let me know yours)!

anyway, I haven’t been reading much but I am planning to (currently reading verge by @nadiaattiawrites and loving the vibes so far)!
