POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This took me a long time because it’s honestly the hardest part of the whole thing…..saying goodbye. Not a goodbye to the show itself but to the people both on set and you at home who helped make it what it was. This group of strangers that we collected over 7 years and 5 seasons that became a “family” that truly made Serenity what it is.
To our cast and crew: I will miss each and every one of you! It was because of you that every day I went to work didn’t feel like work since it was an absolute joy. We really had something special that set the bar extremely high for the future and set us apart. I’m grateful and honored to know you.
To all the people who watched and supported us over the years: Thank you most of all! It’s because of you that any of us got to do this for as long as we did…….It’s because of you that I got to meet and work along side all these wonderful people bringing these stories from Serenity to life……and it’s because of you that Alexa and I got to share a slow country life that reminded us of our own childhoods with our children……our family of 5 became a family of 6…….and our children all have a slight, sweet southern drawl when they speak. We are going to miss our Georgia home with its relaxed rhythm and polite warmth.
So thank you for all the moments, the milestones, and the memories! My family and I are eternally grateful and blessed………
And since I hate goodbyes….I’ll just going to say so long for now……because this is merely the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

I was looking through old journals and found my notes on Sophie Frazier when I was offered the honor to portray her on @sweetmagnoliasnetflix 🌸 I loved learning more about her & learning to lean on a community. Thank you to everyone who watched, and thank you @sheryljanderson @norbuck @dpaulsonprods & @mdrake for steering this ship. Onward always ❤️

With @tiff_net officially wrapped (love my #WhatchaWant family), I also made sure to see my @kungfulandmovie family at the festival. They’ve been so supportive throughout this entire process — even showing up to my screenings. It was great to finally meet members of the team in person after months of digital meetings between Toronto and Singapore.
I’m excited to show everyone what we’ve cooked up with Kungfuland. Thank you @ontariocreates for having us at your lovely event. I also ran into the great @oohelendang and @___russ.___ at Ontario Creates — a good reunion the day before our world premiere of Whatcha Want!

There are no words…. but I will try for the sake of Serenity “Memories • Love • Laughter • Sisters • Mothers and Daughters • Filming • Adventures • Friendships • Actors • Southern • Comfort • Home • Peace • Joy • Inspired”

Just a few words that come to mind when I stop to think about Sweet Magnolias and the place it holds in my heart. Where do I even begin with the wonderful things that my God has brought out of a little Netflix series, it genuinely blows my mind when I try to list them:

- Friendships with several cast and a few crew members.
- A successful Instagram page that my sister and I run together all about our fandoms (@fantasy_falls_studio)
- Personal merchandise that I’ve handmade for friends and family; (shirts with quotes inspired by episodes, wax seal stickers that say Pour It Out, magnets with our favorite quotes on our refrigerator)
- Meeting with people in my career industry and seeing the impact that they have from behind the camera, getting to talk to them about my career aspirations and have them encourage me
- A small town on the other side of Atlanta where my mom, sisters and I regularly visit to unwind and recharge as we sit in our favorite filming locations and picnic or shop or take pictures
- An entire list of new talent that I can’t wait to see what they do next! Ella Grace, Logan Allen, Artemis, and Annalise Judge to name a few…

The blessings are numerous and I wasn’t ever officially attached to the project. If that doesn’t show you the impact that this show has had…

I’m mourning that I have to say goodbye to these meaningful characters but I truly can’t be anything but eternally grateful for this show and the little miracles that it created! Farewell Serenity and the Magnolias…you will be sorely missed! 🥹🎬😭✨

Yep, I do indeed watch the @netflixca drama @sweetmagnoliasnetflix and when I discovered that actor @dion_johnstone who plays Chef Erik Whitley was born in Montreal I pursued an interview. You can watch an extended version at thesuburban.com (On Air, Cohen in the City) but here is a sneak peek. #sweetmagnolias #netflixshows #canadianactors #heatherheadley #netflixdramas

To the love of my life, happy anniversary. ❤️

And as part of our celebration, we’re getting new artwork for our bedroom and wanted to fill the walls with a memory that make us smile every time we look at it.

And because we’ve learned that life is better when you find the easier way, there will be no nails, no drilling, no cement dust. Just peel, stick, and surround ourselves with the moments we love most.

So, of course, I’m going back to @mixtiles which I’ve used before and love. (This is not an ad, but I’m open to collaborating because I really do love what you guys do. 😉)

These are the three finalists from my Stories poll, and we need to narrow it down to two.

Which one gets eliminated: 1, 2, or 3?

To my husband @dion_johnstone I’m so grateful for all the ways we’ve grown, changed, stretched, and kept choosing each other through all the different versions of ourselves. And to have a front-row seat to the man you’ve become.

Here’s to all the memories still to come. ❤️

Singapore!
Our days here are winding down, and the cast of @kungfulandmovie just wanted to say thank you in advance for accommodating us in such a beautiful city.

Season 3 was rough for them, but I am hoping for a happier Season 4! They complement each other so well. They are both so strong, have so much depth, and have great chemistry together🩵 I hope they can move forward in forgiveness!
