We are beyond grateful to be featured in the October Issue of @modernluxuria and to be recognized with the 2026 Fashion Designer of the Year 🏆 a recognition that means so much to us, especially as it celebrates the people contributing to our fashion and creative community.

Gio&Rio is growing, changing, and becoming more refined, and I feel like we’re only getting started. But we’re still holding onto the same reason we started creating in the first place...to tell stories, create something meaningful, and make our own space in the fashion industry. #LetsGoEdmonton

A big shoutout to the @modernluxuria @elsa_amorim team for continuing to recognize and celebrate local creatives and people who inspire, create, and excel in their respective industries. It makes it even more special to be recognized alongside them.

Dream like a kid who hasn’t discovered limits 🌠

I always fell asleep dreaming of the life, the opportunities, and the experiences I’ve always known were meant for me. I never dreamed of walking down the aisle or my wedding dress, I was always steadfast in knowing that I am meant for something bigger than myself and my circumstances.

This wasn’t because I felt like I was entitled to any of this, but because I understood from a young age the power of visualization and how it can take you far beyond what you can even imagine.

I never took no for an answer, I forged my own path, and I was determined in knowing that anything was possible with hard work, dedication, resilience, and the courage to pursuit the unimaginable.

The past few months of my life has been an absolute whirlwind. I am so grateful for everything that has entered my life. I have so much more in dreams to pursue and this is truly only the beginning 🤍

Thank you to Dara, JoHannah, Lance, Dani, Connor, Ninu, Elysia, Shaun, Kamso, and the many talented designers who I have the opportunity to bring with me. Grateful for my whole PHP team, my Team Lana, my coaches/guides, my friends, and my family.

I am where I am because of all of you.

This past Sunday we held our annual Cut-A-Thon and we are so honoured to say we have raised $3,650 that will be 100% donated to ACT Alberta! Your donations are helping to fight human trafficking and giving resources to victims. Thank you to every person who donated, had their haircut, and helped make this event so magical. A huge shoutout to our amazing Adara staff for donating their time & talent to this incredible cause 🤍
