🇮🇶A promotional/recruitment video from the 9th Armored Division of the Iraqi Armed Forces.

The focus is primarily on one of the best variants of the T-90—the export-model T-90S and T-90SK. Iraq truly possesses some of the finest versions of the T-90. The footage also features HMMWVs.

🇺🇦Born under a lucky star

The crew of a Ukrainian T-64BV tank (the author’s assessment, based on the placement of the explosive reactive armor blocks on the turret, the characteristic positioning of the "Luna" searchlight, and the enclosed-type anti-aircraft machine gun) survived a massive strike on their position.

🇺🇦Ukrainian Tunguska

A modernized 2S6 "Tunguska" anti-aircraft gun-missile system, belonging to the 1020th Anti-Aircraft Missile-Artillery Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This vehicle has undergone an upgrade with the installation of the "Ochi-T1" electro-optical system.

Developed by the American company ATN, this system enables the tracking, identification, and destruction of targets at night, thereby allowing for the use of anti-aircraft missiles during nighttime operations.

On the original Soviet-era 2S6 units, the optical channel used for missile guidance does not allow for effective engagement during the hours of darkness. To display the new data, an additional screen has been installed to the left of the operator-gunner’s station.

🇻🇳T-1 and PT-76B

Footage has emerged comparing two amphibious tanks. As previously noted, the T-1 is the first Vietnamese amphibious tank; while it incorporates many elements from its predecessor, the PT-76, it also introduces several innovations—including an electronic warfare (EW) suite, a fire-control system, a new main gun, a remotely operated machine gun, an autoloader, and an additional armor package.

The visual comparison reveals that the T-1 is 4 tons heavier and its hull has been extended by one meter. This extension allowed for the addition of an extra pair of road wheels—a modification necessitated by the installation of a new engine and an autoloader.

Washington’s Ukraine policy is shifting fast, and the signals this week point in one direction.

Trump declared an “energy ceasefire” between Russia and Ukraine, effective immediately, and said both sides had agreed. Within days a Russian missile hit a power plant in Kyiv. Ukraine says it paused its own strikes on Russian energy sites for three days to follow US wishes, then resumed.

Then came Starlink. A Zelensky adviser says a speed limit hit moving terminals overnight with no warning to Ukrainian forces, disrupting missions. Ukraine leans on Starlink for battlefield communications and drone control. Musk says limits on the military Starshield platform are set by the Pentagon and ultimately Trump. The reason for the restriction is unconfirmed, but Zelensky has accused Trump of betrayal over it.

At the same time, Trump floated buying Russian oil in a diesel deal, reportedly without consulting Congress, and called on Zelensky to step down.

Critics read this as an overstretched US, with the Iran conflict pushing up diesel prices, looking for a quick exit from Ukraine. Trump’s aides say it is a sequence: de-escalate first, then offer Moscow economic and political benefits for a lasting ceasefire.

The test is simple. Does Russia stop hitting Ukraine’s grid? Are the Starlink limits lifted? Does Congress push back on Russian oil?

So far the ceasefire has not held. Strategy or drift? Tell us what you think in the comments.

🇷🇺🇺🇦Archival footage showing a tank crew preparing for combat.

A T-72B3 tank is being reloaded with ammunition—primarily high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) and high-explosive (HE) rounds—on the grounds of the AzovMash plant.

In the background, one can see a BTR-82A, as well as damaged or destroyed T-80BV and T-64BV tanks. There is also a tank that has overturned,T-64BV, the open emergency hatch indicates that the crew was able to exit the vehicle safely.

🇷🇺🇺🇦A demonstration of tanks crossing a road.

What’s notable here? Simply the fact that, as is standard practice, a row of tires is laid down so that tanks—which aren't equipped with rubber track pads—don't tear up the asphalt.

The first video shows a Russian T-72B3 during preparations for military exercises in the Far East in 2021.

The second video shows Ukrainian T-72Bs.

🇷🇺A demonstration of unmanned systems at a testing ground in the Southern Military District.

The footage features various types of ground-based robotic platforms, including a carrier for interceptor drones, the "Zubr" automated anti-aircraft system (mounted on a Ural-4320 chassis), the "Citadel" (ZAK-30) anti-aircraft system (on a Tornado-U chassis), the ZAK-57-MSK, and the 2S44 "Giatsint-K" ("Mak") self-propelled artillery system.

Notably, the artillery fired rocket-assisted projectiles during the demonstration, and the truck-mounted anti-aircraft gun systems were shown to the public for the first time.

🇺🇦🇷🇺Storming alongside a tank—that’s awesome!

Footage showing the 93rd Mechanized Brigade storming a settlement or hamlet in August 2025.

The footage features what is presumably a captured T-80BVM, complete with its distinctive engine sound, "skirt," explosive reactive armor, and enclosed anti-aircraft machine gun mount.
