Tren Go! Sound System's new album 'Gentrified Flat Music' is out today!!!

Link in bio

Celebrating my solo thing's 20th anniversary here's some new music in fresh clothing. As @catarinod put it, it might just my most 90s album yet. Threw all the guitars in the sampler, added some drum machine and some acid bass and here we go!
The text on bandcamp will give you more context on how and why this album came into fruiton.

Something that ended up playing a big role was realizing i couldnt play loud anymore after my practice room building was temporarily shut down by the city hall due to safety concerns. This situation is reflected not only in the music but on the cover as well, depicting what was once the building's only emergency door, now covered in cement.

As far as the record goes, Audiowax went far and beyond to conjure up a fantastic sounding and especially good looking record that would make the perfect psychedelic companion to Andre Catarino's artwork. It was a priviledge to learn so much at the plant while fooling around with the pvc.

I think I might have said this in a previous post but it doesn't hurt to reiterate how thankful I am to everyone who helped, supported, believed and made things happen throughout these past two decades. I wouldn't've made it without you! That's the paradox of the solo artist, i guess: no one does anything alone. I would tag you all but you're simply too many to fit in a tiny post.

If you wish to support, the album is available digitally on my bandcamp or on vinyl at:

🚂 TREN GO! SOUND SYSTEM — Gentrified Flat Music

💿 VINYL EDITION — OCTOBER 2

Twenty years of Tren Go! Sound System. 🎉

Pedro Pestana — known for his work with 10 000 Russos, Dreamweapon and Talea Jacta — returns with another dose of guitar, loops, pedals and effects-driven one-man-band psychedelia.

On Gentrified Flat Music, the familiar loopstation setup collides with sampling, dub, fuzz and experimentation — partly born from being forced out of the rehearsal room and having to create at home, at a much lower volume.

The result is playful, strange, hypnotic and beautifully unpredictable. 🌀🎸

And just look at that vinyl… absolutely gorgeous color combination. 😍🔥

💿 Available in the USA October 2 through Echodelick Records

Also available through:

🇬🇧 Dirty Filthy Records
🇵🇹 Saliva Diva

Today is the day from the guy who plays guitars and pedals. From 10.000 Russos to Spitterzelle. From Tren Go! Sound System to Talea Jacta and Dreamweapon. Hail Pedro Pestana! Our dearest psych sound explorer. All respect and friendship.
