Thank you very much to LeeAnn Whistler and her husband John for sending some much needed Gourmet mousse.

We’re going through this stuff like hotcakes! Meena loves it, and yes I’m conscious I haven’t posted a Meena update rest assured everyone that pretty little lady is okay and I shall try do an update tonight! 🐾

Gourmet mousse is a life saver for us. Seeing as we see many sick kitties, or kitties that are reluctant to eat, gourmet mousse is usually a safe option but it also is incredibly easy to syringe feed whilst counting the calories.

Vintage advert for Foyles ("The World's Greatest Bookshop"). I spotted this in a 1947 edition of the BBC's weekly magazine "The Listener". How I wish I could travel back in time, walk through the doors on 119-125 Charing Cross Road, and wander leisurely around the book aisles...

I think I'd purchase these 1947 latest releases:
'One Fine Day' by Millie Panter Downes
'The Plague' by Albert Camus
And I'd also pick up the latest Famous Five & Nancy Drew mysteries, plus as many Penguin Tribands that I could carry back with me for Pigeon Post 👌😉

I'm also amazed to see that "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown was published in 1947. It's lovely to know that book is still going strong 70 years later.
