SSBD recap!!!!!! every year I try to find the words to describe my experience in the But ;) and I can’t ever fully find them….😜 all I know is that i’m truly grateful to be apart of the silliest yet hardworking clowns ever putting together an area filled with surprises and lots of But stuff 🍑 for the people to enjoy! all of these clowns dedicated so much time and effort to perform and make people laugh it’s so sweet. 🙏🏼 I often feel like the grinch with my heart expanding 3x every time I get to experience it! the smiles and laughter we get from people who truly don’t experience the silly enough, that’s enough for me. 🥹

huuuge shoutout to the ginormous team who helped to build our beautiful Butwood this year! major shoutout to all of the clowns and people involved with running the shows, curating the spaces, and keeping the people happy whilst running a damn festival! it takes a village, sometimes a village of clowns even. ;) 🤡 🎪 I think they call that a circus but i’m not totally sure…

also so proud of @kaleidoscopegrace and I for building our Fanny Fashion District in Butwood! a funky flirty space for people to dress up and get silly! my heart is so full ❤️‍🔥 it went by too fast 😭🫣

until next year @ssbdfest !!!! xoxoxo

just a silly ol’ collection of photos from my life these past few months! 🌀 are you sick of me saying i’m grateful for this life yet?! 🤪 starting with Joshua Tree fest with my clown fam! i’m not sure where i’d be in life without my creative clown family…I owe you guys my life. without this outlet for silliness and performance I would be so lost. i’m truly endlessly grateful for the memories and opportunities created with these freaks! 🤡 🎪 🐒 another JTree fest for the books 📚 where we put the C 🤡 in Bird Parade👌🏼🥳 > B2B LIB!!!!!! I haven’t been to LIB for *7 years* and decided to randomly return back this year and i’m so happy I did! my phone got stolen but they weren’t able to steal my love for life 🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️🙂‍↔️ it was so fun galavanting around and seeing people I haven’t seen in awhile! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥 on top of all of the shenanigans I was able to spend lots of quality time with friends and family and celebrate my 30th birthday to top it off! 🍾 30 rotations around the sun baby! 🌞 I am MOST grateful for my family and friends and for the privilege to spend quality time with them while doing what I love most. manifestation is real and so is karma and a healthy balance of the two is the key 🔑 to life. xoxoxo cheers to a new decade of life and cheers to celebrating the privileges we often take for granted 🌀

2 weeks condensed into 2 minutes….LIB feels like going to summer camp, JT feels like a family reunion. both fill my heart with so much joy, especially while i’m in a particularly hard part of my life, having those places to revitalize my love for life, is immeasurable.

Each @joshuatreemusicfestival, @mattschultzart goes and builds a ridiculously cool piece of art from whatever scraps there are in the boneyard, and this year when he was contemplating what to build, I told him he should build a puppet theater. Loving the idea, he invited me to go early and help him build it out to be a late night Anarcho-Puppet Performance Stage, and we ended up putting it right next to @sparkzfineartz mini circus tent.

Then, one night at Clown Camp we were told to take our karaoke shenanigans elsewhere to allow ppl to sleep, and of course, there was no better place to go than to our stage that was designed precisely such madness. And there, “Quiet Karaoke”, which being not so quiet, turned into “Puppet Karaoke”

This was so fun and brought so much Joy to passerby’s who couldn’t wait to get up and sing a song and for us who got to play with puppets all night.

It was truly a moment of inspiration and relief, since I was stressing about how well the Puppet Theater myself and several of an amazing crew memebers will be bringing to Duck Duck Roar this weekend, might be received.

I can’t wait to perform and be silly at Duck Duck Roar as well as continue to carry on this tradition of puppet karaoke wherever we can.

Thank you to all my Soft Clowns for pumping up the jams and activating the space, as well as joshuatreemusicfestival and everyone who joined us in letting their inner child run wild!

Shared joy 🤍

One of our favorite things about clowning is how often it brings people together in ways that feel playful, strange, heartfelt, and deeply human all at once.
These are just a few little moments shared by artists from our community, and seeing where these noses end up will never stop amazing us ✨
