I simultaneously have an immeasurable amount of words and absolutely none to describe this incredible show. RENT is such a timeless show that hits as hard the 12th time as the 1st. I am proudly a jack-of-all-trades artist and these moments where I get to help facilitate a production behind the scenes and watch those I love so dearly work and hone their craft as well as shine onstage are needed reminders of just how essential art and community is and RENT is a fantastic example of this.

So thank you to every single one of you who participated in, crafted, created, and brought to life this phenomenal and deeply grounded story. I am so grateful and lucky to call you all friends by the end of this run and I am endlessly proud of all of you. I cannot wait to watch all of you continue to shine on and off stage. In the meantime, prepare for your next show ❤️‍🔥

Thank you so much for having me @metrocon_fl !!! I had an amazing time!!!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to guest at Metrocon this past weekend! I felt welcomed and celebrated nearly every moment. The cosplay staff? INCREDIBLE. The programming? Spectacular. The artist alley??? OMG!

Hands down my new favorite convention. I have to recommend to everyone!

Thank you to all the amazing folks that came to chat with me and participated in my panels! As someone who tends to stay local, I was really nervous about how well I’d be received but man I was losing my voice on sunday due to the sheer amount of talking and enthusiastic conversations I was having with everyone! I felt the love and support and for that, I am truly grateful!

To the contestants of the craftsmanship contest, everyone’s work was absolutely incredible. I am astounded by the amount of skill and talent Metro has to offer! Congratulations to all the winners and to my judges choice @kxsslin !

To my fellow guests, thank you for being so awesome and sweet and amazing to talk to. Yall made me feel like I was truly amongst peers and i can’t tell you how great that felt. To be able to stand along side such talented members of the community was an honor I do not take lately!

Special shout out to @the_cake_is_good for being so supportive the entire weekend! It was so helpful seeing a familiar friend in my panels and in cosplay central. You helped calm my nerves 😭🙌🏾

Leaving a con with a renewed sense of self worth, self accomplishment, community, new friends and a big ol smile on my face is about all I can ask for and I got that and more!

Here is my way way WAY late post-show post. But I promised myself I’d do it!

I still consider myself relatively new to theater. Especially musical theater.

It had been over 5 years since I stepped on a stage to perform musical theater. It had been 4 years since I last auditioned for a show (thank you traumatic dance call for this non dancer).

Terrified, but encouraged by my friends and family, I auditioned for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. Then I got a callback! Then I got CAST!!!

I could NOT have asked for a better group of people to welcome me back into theater. The energy, the encouragement, the laughs. All of it. Perfect.

I had so many friends and family members come out to the show to support me as well. I can’t express to you all how much that means to me ❤️

To the cast and crew:
Over a month removed from the show; I miss all of you and I miss our time together. On and off the stage. This show would not have been the same without each and every one of you and I genuinely mean that (it won’t let me tag everyone but I love all of you!!!). You all had a massive hand in reassuring me theater is where I belong and I will always be grateful for you 💙

Reminder to myself and to those who need to hear it:
Do things that scare you. Do things that make you uncomfortable. Get out of your comfort zone. Find something new to try. Who knows, you may just find your place. 😊

✨It’s one foot forward at a time✨ It has been a week since we closed The Lightning Thief @baystreetplayers and it was a dream come true. I grew up loving these books as a kid who got diagnosed with ADHD at a young age this story means the world to me.

I got to be a Goat!!!! Or actually a Satyr. A very silly little guy all around!! The marathon that is this show as part of the trio and those who did it beside me I will be forever grateful. I got Double the Percy and Double the Annabeth and each them allowed me to bring a different side of Grover every night.

Everyone in this show has become someone that I cannot wait to share the stage again. The cast and tech Allowed me to exist not only as a performer but as a person and I will forever be grateful.

During tech week I was sent a video by @smallerthanyou413 of George Salazar @georgesalazar who was the original Grover on Broadway and he told me to love hard as Grover. And I felt like I did that. I loved this cast I loved this show I took in every moment every laugh on and offstage. I allowed the love I felt for my cast to grow and I allowed myself to love myself as Grover.

where do you go when it’s over?

it’s been a week since the understudy performance, and my brain is (almost) settled.

this show was a BEAST. (sry clarisse). i was so lucky to share the stage with old and new friends for three weekends, with two different tracks.

the technical elements, costuming, music, design, acting, blocking, STAGE COMBAT???, vocals, choreography, rollerskating, puppetry, and the best canine actor since lassie? a beast.

going from casually listening to a few songs to get acquainted, to not being able to THINK about lyrics from the bonus tracks without tearing up? character development.

for a show about unlikely heroes, this production boasted MANY of them. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to watch so many people from different backgrounds come together and make something truly unforgettable.

I had a beautiful experience learning new skills, developing INCREDIBLE relationships, and growing as a person. all of this in the most unsuspecting of places, in Eustis, Florida.

The Lightning Thief (The Percy Jackson Musical), I owe you so much. I haven’t performed on a theatrical stage in over six years and what a show to return to. anyone who knows me know just how much greek mythology and percy jackson means to me and it was so much fun to bring it to life. i was worried day one about making friends in this cast and what a silly concern that was, i have met some of the most talented, hilarious, and overall amazing hardworking people through this show and i would be nothing less than honored to work with them again.

a particular special thank you to the tech team for making every single prop and costume piece used in this show, and pulling off nothing short of miracles behind the scenes.

cast, i adore each and every one of you to the degree i would ramble on endlessly so just know you are all fantastic, stunning performers and i want to support you all in whatever other endeavors you are up to 💕⚡️💀

if i had a nickel for every time i caused percy jackson problems in this show, i believe i would have 15¢.

the lightning thief was an incredible way to start off my 2026. getting to play two larger-than-life villains was an absolute blast! i was really nervous about doing this production where i knew only a few people involved, but i am extremely happy to report that i have made many new friends that are some of the funniest, most hardworking, and talented people i have ever encountered. to the cast, thanks for making me feel at home at camp half-blood! i enjoyed getting to know all of you and being part of all the shenanigans on and off-stage. to the crew, thank you for everything you have done! from the props, to the costumes you made (looking at you minotaur), to the scene transitions, to making sure everyone is taken care of backstage, y’all are the MVPs. everyone should be sooo proud of the work you put out on that stage!

the lightning thief! i love these people & love this show!

the most rewarding part of this show, by far, has been the positive responses from kids who watched, especially the little girls who told how much they loved annabeth. growing up, i struggled to find female empowering characters who looked like me, so playing such a strong and smart character like annabeth has been such a dream.

i’m so grateful to be able to create art that inspires and makes people happy in such trying times. i’ll cherish this forever! <3

I never really post on here, I’m not the type to be super active on social media or to get super sappy but I can’t NOT post about this AMAZING CAST AND CREW for this FANTASTIC show we put on. I haven’t done theater since high school and I’m so happy that my friend, Skylar, brought me back into it. I’ve made so many friends and have had such a wonderful time, even despite its stresses, I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I’m so thrilled I got to do tech for The Lightning Thief and got to support this great cast. I can’t wait to come back to the stage again, either as tech or cast, and to see everyone from the show again.
Special shoutout to Skylar, Heather and Donut for sharing the left side of the stage with me this whole time and keeping me company amongst the chaos!
