POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little glimpse of a special day!

I am insanely grateful and truly honored for the @tamronhallshow for giving me a space to share my experiences as a young caregiver.

I am also really thankful for the other guests who joined me to share their own stories and expertise within caregiving. Everyone’s story is different, but I really hope that conversations like these will help more people to feel more seen and understood.

I hope that this experience creates a clearer path for caregivers to navigate to the help and support that they truly need because carers deserve care just as much as those they are taking care of.

Stay tuned, @tamronhallshow this Friday at 2:00 PM EST!

Thank you, @aacy_caregivingyouth for giving me this opportunity in the first place!

Posting again after a two-year hiatus weirdly felt a bit like I owed an explanation lol but the internet is too big and vast (and scary..) for I am just one viewport scroll away on your screen and people move on with their own pace, so we just gotta let it FLOW~~~

I’m here! I never left! I am only now realizing how many new features insta has when you’re about to post, it took me a few hours to study them. Anyway thank you friends 🫰 #greencard #greenparty

EDIT: Wow THANK YOU EVERYONE for being so so nice!! 💕

Benang in use — Dita (@ditut) brings Benang to life by translating Benang Script into a tactile surface, where each bead acts as a pixel. “Benang” means “thread” in Indonesian, and here the idea returns to its origin, reconstructed bead by bead.

Thank you, Dita, for this creative interpretation.

If you’ve been experimenting with Benang in your own medium, tag @wetype.co or send us your work. We’d love to see where you take it.

We felt both proud and deeply moved to attend the presentation event for Sawung Kampret, the comic created by Dwi Koendoro, which has now been translated and published in the homeland of Moerjangkoeng, the Netherlands, by its initiators and publishers, drs. Tom Van der Geugten (father) and dr. Jolien Van der Geugten (daughter) at @erasmushuis_jakarta. Tom @vleermuisvechter is a historian, while @jolienvdgeugten is a publisher in the Netherlands.

Thanks to their dedication, one of Dwi Koen's dreams, our father's dream, has come true: to see his comic reach the land of windmills and become known among comic enthusiasts and historians there.

Thank you, Tom and Jolien, for carrying forward our father's spirit and passion for spreading kindness, and for helping share the stories of ordinary people and their struggles against injustice through Sawung Kampret... HWARAKADAH!!!
