For Ella. 🤍🐾
10 January 2007 – 31 August 2026

A little piece I composed for my beloved Miss Ella, plus a few memories from our 19 years and 7 months together.

My final contribution to #theellafiles.

I miss you so much, my sweet angel. Thank you for being my baby girl. 🤍🪽

Some highlights from my performance at Soundshred. 🎶

This was only my second ever live production performance! The first was two years ago, for International Women’s Week (through @createdefinerelease Process program).

Why such a big gap? Well.. life happened. Job redundancy, going freelance, starting a business.. and all the anxiety and stress that came with it. Music making was put on pause while I found my feet.

So it was huge for me to be invited by @metasamasoundsystem to perform live again last Friday, and play a 30 min set of my original music with keys improv + a lil percussion surprise!🪘

Honestly I was blown away by the response. 🥹 People dancing and clapping along. A couple who heard the music from outside and came in to see what was happening.

THANK YOU to everyone who came, listened, danced, cheered, and supported. ❤️🙏🏻

This gig reminded me just how much I love music and performing live.

Also huge props to the other artists who also came and did their thing! Inspired. 🙌🏼

🎹 Tracks featured:

Cruise With Me
Late Nights, East Side
Flow (unreleased)

Ubuntu in motion - SBK (salsa, bachata, kizomba) edition. We told you we don’t stick to one style. 💃🕺🎶

Old school vibes 💃🕺🎧🎵

Ubuntu - I am because we are.
We are a collective rooted in movement and expression through music. Not bound to any one style or genre- we are the creatives who start moving when the rhythm hits. Dance is how we communicate.

We are an inclusive community that genuinely welcomes beginners. Our mission is to spread the love of music and dance, especially those with African origins. Salsa, hip hop, house, and more. ❤️ If this resonates, join us for the next festival 23-25th May, more info on @u_buntuuu page.
