South Beach nights🌙Swipe left for cool payphone art inside @macsclubdeuce. @anthonybourdain called Mac's "One of the last true dive bars in South Beach," and I'll second that emotion. Cheers!🍻 Photo shared by webb.o.matic on May 19, 2026 tagging @anthonybourdain, @miamistreetphotos, @macsclubdeuce, @miamistreetphotographyfestival, @streethoney, @woofermagazine, @miami_spc, and @payphonesofmiami. After 91 years, Hawaii's oldest bar is closing its doors.
Smith's Union Bar (est.1934) has served generations of patrons for nearly a century. This classic Chinatown watering hole was established in 1934 on N. Hotel Street after the end of prohibition. Recent updates report that the landlord decided not to renew the bar’s lease for reasons that were not disclosed. Glad I was able to enjoy this gem of a dive bar for a round or two in August 2025. Hit up Smitty's while you can!🍻

Love the electrical outlet in the bottom of the payphone. Nice touch 👌 Photo shared by webb.o.matic on December 19, 2025 tagging @gohawaii, @oahu, @hawaiistagram, @smithsunionbar, @historybytheglass, @divebar_life, @divebarhunters, @divebarvibes, @seattle_dive_bar_podcast, @honolulu, and @smithsunionbar_hawaii.
