GET READY FOR TOMMY COUNTACH – 1.8.2026 IN HELSINKI

Get ready for Countach as the neon lights flicker to life for a massive night of electronic synth music on the 1.8.2026. On the Rocks features Berlin’s own Tommy Countact who is bringing his legendary, synth-fueled bedroom jam straight to the live stage.

Before braving the solo spotlight, Tommy was busy anchoring the keys and synths for iconic projects like Captain Hollywood Project and Grossraum Indie Fresse. Armed with a severe case of Gear Acquisition Syndrome—resulting in a zillion keyboards, two drum machines, three loopers, and a massive array of effects—he bridges the gap between 80s/90s Italo disco, synthwave, and driving eurodisco. Strapping on his signature keytar, Tommy will be delivering a high-octane mix of familiar melodies, improvised jams, and fresh tracks like his latest single, “Sweet Danger.” This is your chance to vibe with the music, because the ideas you dance to the most are going straight onto his next record!

Keeping the energy redlined all night long, Helsinki Synth City resident DJ—DJ BRU—will be spinning on the decks from doors open until the late, sweaty hours of the morning. Prepare for an unforgettable journey through the absolute best of the retro-future spectrum.

Event will also have supporting acts that Helsinki Synth City is looking through our mailing list for artists.

Tickets become available soon🙏🏻🙏🏻

Less than two weeks to go for our two years anniversary! 👾 Introducing the fine lineup for this special night on 17th of April, here you have our guests for the night!

Masha Wordpress is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer known for her electrifying presence and high-voltage performances. During her DJ sets, she fills the dancefloor with unrestrained energy, taking listeners on a sonic journey through electro, bass, breaks, and broken rhythms. As a producer, Masha has made her mark with releases on Ovelha Trax, Native Boundaries and Felicita Arts. Her debut EP, released on Jade at the end of last year, unleashed an uncompromising sound, showcasing a sharper, more aggressive side of her music. Beyond the decks, she advocates for diversity in electronic music through her project Magenta, dedicated to supporting and amplifying female talent in the club scene.

Indigo was born on a planet called X in a distant galaxy. Before the planet's explosion, he was sent to safety on Earth. During his journey, Indigo discovered mystical black discs from outer space, from which he gains superhuman powers. Indigo's attire usually consists of jeans and a t-shirt. For our night he will dive into the delights of classic electro!

Punto Electro hosts Jennijay and ERBR will be behind the decks as per usual, making sure the electro delicacies keep coming along the night.

See you next week in Kaiku to celebrate this electro space! ⚡️

FRI 6/2 – Punto Electro: Anthony Rother (DE) + Ozan All Night Long

This Friday, you’re invited to explore the glorious world of Punto Electro in room two with a special guest from Germany, Anthony Rother. Rother has been integral in shaping the sound of contemporary electro ever since the mid-90’s both with his own productions imbuing electro with dark ambient and techno as well as running influential labels such as Psi49net and Datapunk. Joining Rother are S-Quadro, ERBR and Jennijay.

Room one hosts an all-night voyage with Helsinki techno mastermind Ozan. Common to the sound in both rooms is a commitment to deep immersion and a journey-is-the-destination approach to exploration, whether it is the hypnotic and groove-bound techno journey of Ozan or the more angular, shapeshifting shadow world of Punto Electro.

Limited amount of advance tickets 12 € via Eventual. Tickets from the door 16 €. Free entrance before 23:00. Welcome!

FRI 17/4 – Blasha & Allatt (UK), Samuli Kemppi (LIVE), Loot, Sundrops + Punto Electro 2-Year Anniversary

If you’ve been wondering what’s going on in the historical hotbed of rave culture that is Manchester, well, on Friday the 17th of April is your chance to get some first-hand evidence as Blasha & Allatt take Kaiku by storm. In recent years the duo has been revitalizing the UK rave scene with their boisterous Meat Free parties and as part of the Frixxxion queer club nights. But first and foremost, it is about the music they play; moving seamlessly from hard-driving house to energetic techno by way of many excursions into connected sub-genres, their sets showcase an unbounded creative spirit. Blasha & Allatt are also residents at the lauded Vault Sessions in Amsterdam and have been touring all over Europe and the world, now finally making their debut at Kaiku.

Setting the stage for them is a live set by Helsinki legend Samuli Kemppi who shares a similar wide-spectrum approach to techno. A prolific and celebrated producer, Kemppi has over 30 releases under his belt, spanning two decades. A live set by him has become an increasingly rare treat these days so make sure to arrive early. Opening the night are up-and-coming local talents Loot and Sundrops. In room two, the inimitable Punto Electro celebrate their 2 year anniversary with Masha Wordpress, Indigo, Jennijay, and ERBR.

Limited amount of advance tickets 12 € via Eventual. Tickets from the door 8 € before 23:00, 16 € after. Welcome!

New episode of Punto Electro in Ida Radio from last Monday!

This time, drawing from so much inspiration from our last Punto Electro night, we bring a heavy hitting and heavier episode. We start with a darker mood for the first part of the episode to then move towards a bit faster electro for the second part while exploring some edges of the electro world.

In this episode we have couple of selections inspired on last Friday. First one was Kagome by Neonicle, a track played by S-Quadro. The second one, by the one and only Anthony Rother, we chose a classic: Destroy Him My Robots.

Clip 1: Neonicle - Kagome @alexandronicle
Clip 2: Intergalactic Mechanic - Spectral Event
Clip 3: Anthony Rother - Destroy Him My Robots @anthony_rother
Clip 4: Velsky - Lead Drip @alex.velsky

See you next month again with more electro! And as always, if you have some electro you would like to hear in our show (either as a pick or your own tunes), hit us up! 👾 Photo shared by Punto Electro on February 15, 2026 tagging @dj_br1uno, and @dj_jennijay. May be an image of text.

Phew phew...what an electro treat we got!! ⚡️ The one and only Anthony Rother delivered a lecture on electro, with a full house and amazing energy. Electro is great and people got to enjoy it from this legend!

In addition, we had the pleasure of enjoying a DJ set by the electro lover and connoisseur S-Quadro. Showing a great taste in music and experience behind the decks!

And as always, Punto Electro hosts Jennijay and ERBR played a B2B set as a warm up before Rother and continued together with S-Quadro for a B2B2B stravaganza to round up a night full of quality electro.

Thanks to Anthony Rother @anthony_rother and S-Quadro @sirsquadro for joining us. Very very many thanks to all the dancers who kept an amazing energy during the whole night (including those electro warriors that stayed until the very end!) and thanks to @clubkaiku for giving space for electro.

See you soon with more electro adventures! 👾

FRI 6/2 – Ozan All Night Long + Punto Electro: Anthony Rother (DE)

February’s First Friday – it has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? And further than that, it has a rather special line-up to it as well, spread across both rooms of Kaiku. In room one you’re invited on an all-night voyage courtesy of Helsinki techno mastermind Ozan and in room two, you can explore the glorious world of Punto Electro with a special guest from Germany, Anthony Rother.

Common to the sound in both rooms is a commitment to deep immersion and a journey-is-the-destination approach to exploration, whether it is the hypnotic and groove-bound techno journey of Ozan or the more angular, shapeshifting shadow world of Punto Electro. Coincidence or not, NASA has scheduled the lunar spaceflight Artemis II for takeoff around the same time; it seems that the time is right for leaving the low Earth orbit behind.

Limited amount of advance tickets 12 € via Eventual. Tickets from the door 16 €. Free entrance before 23:00. Welcome!

And here we bring you the lineup for 6th of February in Kaiku! As you can see, we have such a electro treat behind the decks! ⚡️

Anthony Rother is described as an influential visionary, an electro pioneer and one of electronic music’s most prolific producers. For more than two decades Rother aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music.

The vocoder-driven vocals and the dark dystopian synth sound with machine-like beats have become Rother’s trademarks, even before he found international recognition as a science-fiction avant-gardist with the virtual electro-pop project "Little Computer People" (2001) and his 3rd solo LP "Hacker" (2002).

S-Quadro is a Helsinki-based DJ and music producer and a member of the Electro Music Coalition [EMC] label. Known for his refined and forward-thinking electro sound, he has spent recent years as a resident at Underground Formation and the UFO Club project, becoming a favorite guest at private events. Every compilation he makes is a deep, hypnotic journey through genre and atmosphere. He also spends long hours in his studio creating music on hardware machines and working on his live project Quadrica, and is currently preparing two releases for later this year.

And, as per usual, Punto Electro hosts Jennijay and ERBR will join our guests behind the decks.

See you on 6th of February for a new electro night for the archives! 👾
