🌊 The Sea 🌊 (post 3 of 3)

Fronteer Gallery is proud to present 'The Sea', a group exhibition featuring over 50 artists from around the UK, all looking at the beauty and majesty of the sea in a variety of styles and disciplines.

A rich source of inspiration for artists past and present, this exhibition highlights many facets of what the sea means to people. Artists have captured its natural beauty and innate sense of danger, but have also looked at environmental issues, nostalgia, sense of place, political issues, and the sea's ability to provide grounding and mental wellness.

You can catch 'The Sea' at @fronteergallery until 15th June. The gallery in the craft units at @orchardsquare.

Feel free to DM me for sales enquiries and, as ever, if you're an artist and I haven't tagged you, let me know!

🎨 'Abstract' exhibition (post 3 of 3) 🎨

We're into the final week of our wonderful 'Abstract' exhibition, which is open 11-4 Tuesday - Thursday this week at @fronteergallery.

The exhibition features over 50 artists, each presenting a piece of abstract work. We have a huge variety of work represented; not only in terms of styles and medium but also in ideas and concepts. As such, this exhibition is a true reflection of what it means to make a piece of abstract work as an artist living today.

Feel free to DM me with sales enquiries, and if you're one of the artists in this post and I haven't tagged you, let me know!

Took a little trip to Orchard Square to find @fronteergallery and see this painting by my lovely friend @djbsackett.

Great little gallery tucked away in the units above the Square. Do take the time to pop in. The current exhibition comprises small to medium-sized abstract pieces at reasonable prices if you're on the look out for original work by local artists.

For The Love Of…walks in Sheffield.

Many thanks for sharing this with us @djbsackett 🧡 and for telling us why:

“The walks through the Porter Valley from Endcliffe Park then Bingham Park, onto Whiteley Woods towards Forge Dam and beyond became rooted in my life in Lockdown and are now just a part of me. The walks keep me grounded and thankful. I have favourite trees and views on the walks and the view from this vantage point is one of them.”
