Over the summer we asked ourselves how to bring a real listening room into our music complex.
The Studio is now that place, moving between listening and dancing, and our program will always tell you which.
Every room now sounds the way the music deserves, and the program is built around the sound, not the other way round.

When you come on the weekend, take a moment to look at who is behind the desk. You don’t need to know their records. But there is a real difference between consuming a night and taking part in one, and most of that difference is curiosity.

Check out our October program in the slides
We look forward to meeting you at the door 🖤

I first met @djgregbelson in 2011, when we both played the NYC Downlow at Glastonbury. That weekend, we bonded over music and many pints at Maceos, the infamous backstage bar. I was blown away by the unreal gospel set he had  thrown down in the Downlow and I wanted to know more about the unusual path he'd forged, taking the church to the most hedonistic of dancefloors. Likewise, he was curious as to what I'd been digging up down in Brazil. When he said to me at one point something to the effect of, "There's got to be some amazing gospel records out of Brazil. You should be looking for them," I took it to heart. That conversation eventually led to my Pelo Amor de Deus streetwise Brazilian gospel cassette project from a few years ago and now, to tomorrow's set for the Divine Chord Gospel Show Summer Soundclash. I've got my man Greg to thank for urging me to explore these overlooked sounds and it will be an honor to bring it full circle tomorrow as his guest on the show. Tune in to @dublab tomorrow, Saturday, September 26th at 10 AM PST (2 PM in Brazil), as me and the big man go toe to toe with the Divine platters that matter and take a sneak peak in the second slide at what's in store. Obrigado, meu irmão Greg! Vamo que vamo!
