The Hive is officially buzzing!

Our grand opening brought together everything we hoped this club would be: great people, big smiles, and a shared love for padel.

Thank you to everyone who played, celebrated, and helped bring The Hive to life. Plus the team from @carbon_saltlakecity for bringing the yoga. And @catalystperformance.slc for the bodywork. @adidaspadel @bellboysports Seeing this community come together made all the hard work worth it. ❤️

This is just the beginning. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or looking for your next match, there’s a place for you here.

Come for the padel. Stay for the people. Welcome to The Hive!

Cold and sharp, and the last course on the menu that still tastes like summer. Everything after it turns.

The Windfall menu.
Oyster and apple, on the roof, from six.
01 — hamachi, butternut, avocado, shishito, garlic dashi, crispy ginger
02 — roasted chicories, pear, lemon, pain d’épices, sage
03 — grilled Utah lamb loin, Persian spice, crispy rice, grilled eggplant, saffron yogurt, dill
04 — peach tarte tatin, huckleberry, buttermilk ice cream
All of it comes off the last two weeks of the season — the point at which summer and fall are briefly both true.
Sunday, September 20 at Sunday School. Up top at six for the amuse hour and sunset, down to one long table at seven-thirty, out by nine. 21+.
$75 per guest · pairing +$25, in wine or without · $100 all in
Tickets at slcprovisions.com.

With, or without.
Five pours, course for course, and you pick the side. Same price, same glassware, same amount of work.
With — Scharffenberger Brut · Ruth Lewandowski “Elimelech” Riesling · Sokol Blosser Evolution Lucky No. 9 · Gramercy Cellars “Lower East” Syrah · Quady Essensia
Without — apple and chamomile spritz · green apple, verjus and ginger · pear, chamomile and sage · sour cherry, black tea and saffron · and a buttermilk-clarified roasted peach and huckleberry punch to finish
The without list is built in house, from the same pantry the plates come out of. Every pour is designed against the wine it stands in for — not around it.
Windfall — Sunday, September 20 at Sunday School. Six to nine. 21+.
$75 per guest · pairing +$25 either way · slcprovisions.com

Windfall moves to Sunday.
An unforeseen conflict took Saturday the 19th. It bought us the roof.
Sunday, September 20 at Sunday School. Up top from six for oysters and the amuse hour — sunset is 7:27 — then down to one long table for
four courses. Out by nine.
Same menu, same kitchen, same price. @djkush8 still on the decks. One thing that is different: Sunday School is 21+, every guest ID-scanned.
$75 per guest · pairing +$25, in wine or without · $100 all in

Please 🙏 Like and comment as an act of gratitude ❤️ to all of us that have been working hard to find different ways to help the families in Colombia that were affected by the earthquake.

I’m so grateful for the people that attended the dinner at @sundayschool last week. Thank you for supporting the people in Colombia that were affected by the earthquake.
God bless you ❤️🙏❤️

THIS WEEK IN SLC ✦ AUG 31–SEPT 6
After last week’s rain, the skies are clearing just in time for Labor Day week—and we’re squeezing every last drop out of summer. Here’s where I’d be 👉

MONDAY: $2 oysters + build-your-own martinis at @hearth_and_hill
And then catch the last Summer Jam of the season at Canyon Rim Park. Wouldn’t want to miss a free set from the @pearlyblueband

TUESDAY: Two-steppin’ at @fisherbrewing 🤠 Lessons start at 7 with @salt.lick.dancing and live music at 8 from @trashmooncollective 🔥 and I’ll be there, so come say hi.

WEDNESDAY: Free yoga with @yogasix_sugarhouse at @utahmuseumoffinearts practiced underneath Yasuaki Onishi’s Stone on Boundary installation—which honestly might be one of the coolest places to flow in SLC right now.

THURSDAY: @djkush8 takes over the @ivyandvarley patio for Frequency Shift. She personally curates the sounds to reset your mood + shift the energy. Very into this one.

FRIDAY: I refuse to choose between SLC Punk! on 35mm with @saltlakefilmsoc OR Office Space in the alley at Woodbine with @utahfilmcenter 🎬 Two cult classics, two very different Friday-night moods.

SATURDAY: Start at Afro Utah Festival for music at @slcpl for dance, food + culture, then get a little weird at the Strange & Unusual Market at @nightmareon13th they are offering a day haunt for $20 but the market is free to attend. 👻

SUNDAY: Plant people, this one’s yours 🌱 Plant Lovers Market + Prop Swap at @churchandstateevents Bring your propagations, trade some babies + shop local.
