SUPER late Summer post ☀️ (I been busy 😅).
First, I just want to thank everyone for your constant support! I know I always say it, but it truly means a lot and is always much appreciated🙏. While I can still be very hard on myself sometimes, I’m also very proud of myself and am just so blessed to be in a position where I can continuously learn and grow as a person/musician. Most importantly, I’m still having so much fun through it all 🤗🥰

Taylor and Jake grew up together, with a connection that started long before they ever knew what the future would hold. Taylor’s grandfather was the Jake’s elementary school bus driver, and years later, their own story unfolded.

8 years together.

Now, surrounded by the people who watched their story grow, they said “I do” at The Rockleigh and it couldn’t have been more perfect. 🥂✨

I’ve been spending a lot more time on the floor lately… and it’s all because of my daughter.

Watching Belle play has been bringing me right back to being a kid in the 90s, right in the middle of the NASCAR / Jeff Gordon era. I had one of those city rugs. Nothing specific to racing, but somehow it became everything. Races, crashes, pit stops, full worlds built completely in my head.

Now I’m watching her do the exact same thing… making the “vroom” sounds, lost in it… and it hit me — that’s where all of this starts.

So when I came across @behrendspeedway, I loved it immediately. It’s basically what I used to imagine… just built for real. Full tracks, pit road, grandstands — all of it.

And now I’m back on the floor again, just like when I was a kid.

Same imagination. Different chapter.

… and Jeff Gordon still wins every time. That’s the rules.
