Had some fun with the silver bullet to wrap up the year 🤙

Watch till the end to see my dumbass chase after a 240lb log... my face as it bounces is pure comedy 😂

Event days are the best days 🤙

280lb sandbag to shoulder, 540lb double on the axle tire deadlift followed by a set of 4 at 500lbs even. Also bent some rebar for the hell of it, that was pretty awesome!

Had a total smooth brain moment and deadlifted in my lifters, but the hype was unmatched today, and we got it done 💪

Here is parking information for athletes, volunteers and spectators for Saturday’s Warpath Strength Skull Smash Challenge II.

Posted @withregram • @warpath_strength Attention competitors and spectators at the Warpath Strength Skull Smash Challenge II…this is one of two videos I shot for last year’s contest regarding the parking situation for the show. Please pay attention.

And, FYI…the first video from last year is irrelevant because a Culver’s is now being built to the east of Midwest Strength and Performance so that lot is no longer available/accessible.

Please DO NOT park in the @mspgym parking lot. It’s small and their neighbors will have customers on Saturday, so please be considerate. There is PLENTY of parking in the lot to the west of the gym where an old car dealership used to be.

Also, please DO NOT park in the lot for DuPage Vacuum or else your car may get towed. No joke. You’ve been warned.

I will also be sending an e-mail to all competitors later today with more information about parking, weigh-ins, schedule, etc. so please stand by for that.

It’s back, baby! We’re lettin’ the dogs out in 2023!

Posted @withregram • @warpath_strength If you love to deadlift and you love dogs, you’re going to want to pay attention to this. On Saturday, February 4, 2023, the Warpath Strength Pull For Paws partner deadlift competition is happening at @ironcladperformance

This will be a fundraiser for @peaceforpits - a Chicago-area rescue and registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that focuses on finding loving homes for “bully” breeds in need of help.

Teams of two will pull as many reps as possible on one of two custom-built axle bars loaded with truck tires. Teams can be all-male, all-female or coed. There will be three bar weights to choose from for each division: 400#, 800# or 1,200#

Registration is live on @iron_podium but I’ll be capping this event at 100 athletes (50 teams of two) so please don’t wait too long to sign up.

So, find a strong friend who likes to lift and team up to support a great cause.

And, swipe left to see what the set-up looks like for the 1,200# bar. I did this event a few years ago with my pal @teamstanko around Christmastime (hence the elf costumes).

Got another one!

Posted @withregram • @warpath_strength SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT! I am super stoked to announce that @beardbrothersgrooming has decided to sponsor the Warpath Strength Skull Smash Challenge II, which is happening next Saturday, August 6, at @mspgym in Wheaton, IL. Huge thanks to the real-life bearded brothers, Pat and Dan, for their support.

These guys are an Illinois-based company that makes USA-based, environmentally-friendly, high quality men’s grooming products. If you have a beard and you want to keep it looking, feeling and smelling amazing, you need to check out their awesome products. They have generously agreed to provide prizes for the athlete raffle at next weekend’s contest.

Thanks again, guys.

Freedom isn’t free. Let’s help support those who support and protect our freedom.

Posted @withregram • @warpath_strength As anyone who knows me or who follows this page, I have a deep respect and appreciation for the brave men and women who serve and who have served in the U.S. military. I was raised in a family where many of the men served in the Army, Navy and Marines. They were role models for me growing up and I will never forget the valuable life lessons they taught me.

Through my involvement in strongman, I have also had the pleasure of meeting and making some very good friends who are veterans…guys like @kentuckystrongman and Steve Welch, the owner of @skull_smash_ammonia (our title sponsor). I thank you for your service.

I always find a charity that I can support with a donation from some of the proceeds I make from every one of the strongman contests I promote. For the upcoming Warpath Strength Skull Smash Challenge II, I will be donating to The Midwest Shelter For Homeless Veterans, which happens to be located just a few miles down the road from the venue where we’ll be having the competition.

From their website: “The Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans is a non-profit agency that provides housing, supportive services and community outreach to help homeless and at-risk veterans and their families achieve self-sufficiency. Founded in 2007, by Vietnam War veteran Bob Adams and Gulf War veteran Dirk Enger, MSHV operates on a vision of no veteran left behind due to homelessness, joblessness, poverty and/or mental health issues.”

I look forward to seeing all of you on August 6.

Here’s the second sponsor announcement for today! Thanks so much @impactmouthguards

Posted @withregram • @warpath_strength SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT #2 for today! Many thanks to one of the most awesome dudes I know, Frank, and his team at @impactmouthguards for coming on board to sponsor the Warpath Strength Skull Smash Challenge II, which is happening on Saturday, August 6, at @mspgym in Wheaton, IL.

Impact will be providing prizes for the athlete raffle at the end of the day. If you’re not familiar with Impact or their products, you need to check them out. They make an incredible range of protective mouthguards for hockey players, football players, MMA fighters and, of course, strongman athletes. I’m especially fond of my Powerlift mouthguard and I highly recommend it for anyone competing in strongman.

Thanks to Frank and everyone at Impact Mouthguards for the support.
