A successful day in the field starts long before the season begins. During Field Ready Training Day, Dawson Cherry, Associate Trainer with Wildrose Carolinas, walked guests through preseason preparation for field dogs. He shared tips on everything from conditioning, nutrition, balance, to training. Thank you @dlcherry1964 for sharing your expertise and showing us how thoughtful training builds trust between dog and handler!

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday at Shellring Ale Works for Beat the Heat with Release Over 20!

We had a great evening connecting with the Port Royal community, sharing more about Release Over 20’s mission and spending time with fellow anglers and conservation supporters — including Capt. Champ Smith, founder of the Lowcountry RedTrout Celebrity Classic which has raised over $2 million to date for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

A special thank you to @shellring_aleworks for hosting us and helping make the evening such a success, and to Mason and Tony of @baystreetoutfitters for letting us crash your monthly Taps & Ties event.

We appreciate everyone who stopped by, grabbed a cold one and learned more about how we can work together to protect our fisheries for generations to come.

We are blown away by the amount of support we've received thus far for our upcoming Turn the Tide event on Sunday, March 15.

Release Over 20’s upcoming fundraiser, Turn the Tide, brings together anglers, conservationists, and industry leaders who believe healthy fisheries don’t happen by accident.

If your business believes in protecting the future of our fisheries, we’d love to work together! There are still ample sponsorship opportunities available. Visit the link in our bio to learn more.

This was a fun little getaway to the Port Royal / St Helena Island area. @releaseover20 Board Member @dlcherry1964 had the idea to have a meet and greet with @baystreetoutfitters at @shellring_aleworks A really good turnout and it was great to see some old friends and meet some new. Board member @michaelwcollier and I spent the night at Dawson's place and we got a couple hours of fishing in the morning. Such a beautiful place. Truly "God's country" I was very encouraged to catch 6 redfish from the 2024 year class - A good sign, assuming these were not stocked fish. I think we'll start having more of these meet and greet around the state - and hopefully country. What do you think?

Fun morning with @dlcherry1964 at @two_ponds_duck_club in Rock Hill 8. Ended up with two. Should have had a few more but morning started bad with the safety on my gun freezing while 6 teal landed in the decoys. Oh well. Had to break ice multiple times and it got thicker each time. Fun hunt in the snow. Until next time @costasunglasses @froggtoggshunt #SeeWhatsOutThere
