The one where Jo turns 50! 🙌🏻

Oh.my.God. What a weekend at Jo’s FRIENDS themed party 🎉

Awesome costumes, including the Christmas Armadillo, chic & duck, Dr Drake Ramoray, Chandler, Chef Monica, Joey wearing all the clothes, pregnant Phoebe in Santa’s pants, lots of dancing and perhaps a little bit too much red wine for me, but what a fantastic party!

The Crimson Empress 👑✨
Where heritage meets haute couture, and every detail tells a story of grandeur.
The Crimson Empress is an ode to regal architecture, rich textiles and timeless Indian elegance — brought to life entirely in sugar. Deep burgundy drapery flows across the tiers, framed with delicate antique-gold lace, while intricate architectural detailing creates the illusion of an ornate royal doorway.
Crowned with a sculptural golden dome, the design is finished with handcrafted florals and delicate gilded foliage — creating a piece that feels both opulent and beautifully theatrical.
From the textures to the drapery, from the smallest gold detail to the grand silhouette, every element was thoughtfully handcrafted to create a cake that feels less like a dessert and more like a piece of edible couture.

Couture isn’t just a look—it’s a standard of execution. ❤️❤️

When teaching multi-tiered wedding cakes, the focus isn't just on making things look pretty. It’s about structural engineering, sharp edges, and flawless texture integration.

This breathtaking cake was handcrafted by a student in our September 4-Day Masterclass. Look closely at how the textures play off each other:

• Rich metallic gold stenciling

• Delicate ivory texture details, rich brown stone texture

• Light, movement-filled wafer paper drapery, delicate wafer paper flowers

When you master the fundamentals of structural stability and artistic finishing, your creative potential becomes limitless.

Seeing students walk in with ambition and walk out creating magazine-worthy cake architecture is why I do what I do. 🤍 Super proud of you Zainab @umangs_baking_rourkela and wishing you all the best for your future. I'm sure you'll be making absolutely breathtaking cakes going forward. 🤗

Wait… this texture is made on a CAKE?! 👀✨

Sometimes, it's the smallest details that transform an entire design.

For my Fifty-Fifty cake, the bold black side needed a texture that would contrast beautifully with the intricate ivory henna-inspired panel and handmade roses.

The Mbellish texture roller helped create that striking embossed pattern, bringing another dimension to the design. 🖤🤍
